Haha, yes. Definitely yes.

Definitely a very fitting video, despite being fan made. This song pumps me up everytime.

This was going to be my response. I figured someone would have already posted it haha.

When all the lights go out. Anti Flag.
edit: Maybe thats a better insurrection style song.
You know... I'm not sure.
That would be my choice for a rebellion song or something along those lines. I thought about posting it for this because of its awesomeness, but I figured I'd go with a more comedic reaffirming of "Final Countdown" (which is pretty much solely good for situations like this).

You're the only other person I've ever seen reference Anti-Flag on this forum. I've certainly never heard When All the Lights Go Out referenced. Good choice.

edit- seeing your edit, I also have to agree that Prayer of the Refugee would be a damn good choice.

This, and let's assume that some how my last stand ended with an explosion and in slow motion.

"Time Stands Still" by Blind Guardian.

If I'm gonna lose anyway, might as well do it to the quintessential "last stand" song.
That was my going to be my choice!

Well maybe Curse of Faenor by Blind Guardian, or You're gonna go far kid by The Offspring

Seconded. Massively. Mon the Biff!

As an alternative I'd perhaps go out to M4 (Part II). I can just see the hordes appearing over the crest of a hill through the opening bars, the panic I'd go into, my sprint for the woodland nearby. Then there's the terrified chase as I try desperately to find some way up into the trees, the occasional gunshot over my shoulder as I stumble further and further into the woods with an ever-growing pack catching up on me. I of course realise that if I keep heading for my safe-house I'll be leading them straight to my loved ones and so, radioing one last assurance of my love I turn to face them. If I manage to drop some, great; If I don't, no big deal. I make sure to leave a clip for when they're almost upon me and when the time comes, shot to the head.
I ain't getting eaten.

Zombie Apocalypse Scenario:
In the house, in a heartbeat - John Murphy (28 Days/Weeks later)

Final shootout scenario:
The Sound of Madness - Shinedown

There are others, but I can't think of them at quarter to 3 in the morning.

I'd pick Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater simply because it's about 45 minutes long so I'd have plenty of time to possibly change the tides. Assuming you won't die until the song is over.

On a serious note though, I would probably pick Shattering the Skies Above by Trivium.

What better than a song that's actually about killing zombies and being killed in the end?
