I will be armed with only a tire iron and will face 20 thugs in the fireworks factory. When I'm bloody and bleeding after killing all the thugs, the mob boss will come out of a hidden entrance and try to shoot me. I will duck down and grab one of the thugs cig-lighters and light the batch of extremely well placed fireworks. They will fly every-where and set fire to all the raw chemicals and fireworks in the building. It will be the most colourful, painful explosion ever.

Stand off between me and another guy. I have a katana and he has a revolver. As I charge he unloads all shots into my chest and goes "WHY..WON'T...YOU...DIE?!" And with the last bit of strength I shove the blade up into to his ribcage and finishing him off before collapsing. Awesome.

1700s Musket-Era battle

My huge army has invaded their country, but they've since pushed us back to our original stronghold on the coast

We need to hold off the hordes until the troopships can arrive to sail us away

Lots of artillery, lots of trench musketry and close-combat, ends with me and a ragtag band of men from various elite units held up in the main hall of the stronghold. We battle for so long that we run out of ammo (we have also scavenged ammo from the hundreds of dead allies surrounding us) and resort to brutal hand-to-hand

We are all killed, myself being impaled in the gut with a broken-off bayonet blade. Their general, my sworn enemy, comes to inspect our grisly demise. In my last breath I suddenly rise up and disembowel him with my sabre. News spreads of the battle (many of my men escape and tell of me and my staff heroically leading by the front), and of the last stand, but, most importantly, word spreads across the planet of my heroic last assault that kills the enemy general

In my home country, in the capital city, outside the government building, there is a Roman-esque statue built in my honour, depicting me as a battered and bruised Herculean figure, with arrow shafts and gashes-a-plenty over my body, rising up from a prone postion with my sword gutting a deamonic-looking depiction of the enemy general

I am a national hero, I will be remembered forever

Mine would be a space fight. A giant armada is approaching the Earth and all the ships on my side have been destoryed. So I order my crew to abandon ship (or they already died, whatever is more heroic) and I lock the engines into full and set a collision course for enemy mother ship and slam into it causing an explosion. The blastwave takes out the majority, if not all, of the smaller ships and I am a hero. I'd like to imagine it would be as dramatic as this.

Anyway, just for the sake of posting something reasonably on topic, I think I'd like to go out with a knife in each hand cackling like a madman as dozens of tools turn up to take me down.

Well let's see now...
Preferably I would like to be in the middle of an open battleground with lots of explosions and bullets and the like flying around all over the gaff while I sit there in the middle ignoring everything and just playing a 'cello. And surviving!
However since I don't have and can't play a 'cello odds are I would just die in the first wave being shot by a stray bullet as I hid fearfully behind a wall.

My last stand would be something a little too frightening to comprehend, and yet it is something that occured in history several times. After months or, more likely, years of bitter and extremely bloody struggle, the enemy finds themselves facing the prospect of invading my own homelands. What they have seen up until this point has given them a taste of what they will experience: an enemy that they cannot understand, fights with a complete disregard for the "rules" of humanity, and is willing to fight to the very last for even the smallest of objectives of only minor importance.

What will they face in the homeland or the capital? Endless waves of fanatical resistants, brainwashed and consumed by a state that has stressed the importance of the survival of their tradition and beliefs. The fighters will be told of their purpose and the immortality that awaits them, either in life as heroes or death as legends. They will fight with a ferocity and suicidal disregard that will bring terror to their opponents, who cannot help but be shocked at how such a nation could accept its total destruction rather than endure a period of humiliation and reconstruction. In the end, the last stand would be a struggle to total extinction for one side or the other.

That is what my last stand would be like. The enemy that would seek to bring my end would face something that has no limit to endurance and only has one goal: to kill as many of the invaders as possible before the end.

Before the others realise what's going on I fire my main cannons at another one, obliterating it. Then the third turns to me and fires it's heat ray, sinking the ship and it's captain along with it.
