Now to be a bit more on topic then... I'll cut things short by saying Fallout 3, I think most people have seen that image of mine, so I won't post it for once!
lol, you're like the only one who doesn't like Fallout 3. Yes I have seen that image of yours but I don't get what makes the game so bad. I found it really fun and great, sure it has some problems but show me a game that doesn't have a single flaw. I guess the faces in fallout 3 are messed up, but the dialog between characters was good and the open world filled with possibilities to construct your own story was really well done.

OT: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, it is not necessarily a bad game but it seems like the game makers just discovered awesome and are then trying to inject it into the games veins at every possible moment. Also it doesn't really bring anything new, it seems like CoD 4 with different guns. Also the fact that they put so many bombs, missiles, gun turrets and the like into the multi player was absolutely 100% Pants-On-Head-Retarded! (quoting ZP) It frequently happens when I am just running along, a missile comes out of no where and bombs the shit out of me and my friends. At least in Call of Duty four you had to get 5 kills for the only air strike which was only okay in effectiveness, and didn't stack. In MW2 you can kill 3 people (2 if you use hard line I think) and you get a care package. The first time I ever used a care package I got to use a plane and I killed over 30 people with it. In the next round I used a knife and got a 10+ kill streak, the game is annoying in single and multi player.

Dragon Age and Killzone 2. Killzone 2 needs quite a bit of work with the combat systems, and Dragon Age needs more polish, better combat, and FFS, more things to do for EXP (or at least a new game+ mode).

COD, Halo, WoW, and Dragon Age come to mind, but the most overrated would have to be FALLOUT 3. The game is a piece of shit, but I am the only person I know who does not believe that it is sent from God as a gift to all gamers.
Also, THE CAKE IS NOT A FUCKING LIE! SHUT UP AND PLAY THE DAMN GAME!

EDIT: Cuy'vul Dar, you are now one of my favorite people

If you judge a game based on the fact that little annoying five year olds play it, are you really judging the game? or its community? Don't get me wrong, I hate them as much as you do. But claiming that the gameplay was "average" is simply untrue. It is your opinion, which I can't really say is "wrong", but there had never been anything like it up until that point. It was well executed in my opinion.

Oh so many. Let's see, I think Halo the whole series is incredibly overrated, as well the Call of Duty games, World of Warcraft, there are probably others I can't think of right now as well.

Super smash bros. brawl.

Overrated? Maybe not, but I have heard a lot of praise from it though. And yes i'm comparing this to melee.

The pace is generally just slower, tripping, air-dodging change, Meta-knight (Yes, he is too strong, he shouldn't have been designed that way) and removal of some good bad bugs.

Although these are really my concerns. Most people aren't concerned by these things.

Every Call of Duty since but not including 4, and every halo after 2.

CoD has become a cash cow. They haven't fundamentally changed anything about the gameplay or prestige systems since the fourth game. The "if it ain't broke dont fix it" approach is all well and good, but not making any significant innovations for three straight games is just lazy. But they know people are blind enough to continue buying it, so they keep making millions. Nazi Zombies is the only change. The online play is full of guns like the infamous M-16 which, according to CoD, has enough power to kill God with one burst to the foot (which was probably the ONLY problem with CoD4). CoD MW2 was the beginning of the end if you ask me. For one, it was riddled with glitches and 10th prestige lobbies that infinity ward DID NOT PATCH. Sure, they were undergoing internal problems, but if you can't set aside petty differences to make the game fair, you are a tool. Secondly, the game awarded ridiculous kill streaks such as the tactical nuke, which is just a testament to how desperate the series has become. It wasn't even hard to get! All you had to do was camp in the back with a sniper rifle and use scavenger to take ammo off of dead enemies. All in all, it has sold out. It no longer exists for gamers, but just for money.

Halo 3 was a miserable excuse for a game. It was Halo 2 with better graphics and slightly different maps, that's it. ODST was a disappointment. It should've been DLC. Period. Reach was the best of the worst if you will. It made some new innovations, such as making the weapons look like they didn't come out of your baby cousin's toybox, but ultimately failed by attempting weakly to mirror the customization of CoD, and following the same tired formula. We have been essentially playing the same game for a decade. WAKE UP!!! Stop letting these tools milk you like cows!!! Demand an engaging experience.

Metal Gear Solid 4. It just... wasn't that great. The story was slop, the gameplay was schizophrenic, and the dialogue was stitled (with the exception of Drebin, a character that I liked immensely).

God of War 2/3. The first was good, the other forced you to be an asshole.
-the problem with you saying that, is the fact that nobody overhyped metal gear solid 4 :') as far as i know most people said that it was bad and seemed like hideo kojima was just tieing up loose ends with a pair of scissors.

Crysis for sure. Pretty as hell, made my first gaming pc crash and cry and almost light on fire, but besides being pretty was just as much of a linear FPS as anything else.

This is focused more on "overrated" than "overhyped". MGS4 got perfect 10's from every reviewer outlet from here to Chad and I thought that that simply wasn't true.

While I'm at it, let me just add Modern Warfare 2, my most hated game of all time, ever. Everything, from the unbalanced multiplayer to the absurd singleplayer to the great sound (my only positive point about that game) to the cheap attempts to cash in on the success of CoD4 (I loved Gaz. Ghost was like Gaz's voice actor underwent an angsty transformation from likeable and able fighter to cranky guy with a skull mask) made me just hate that game.

Portal... i just dont see what makes it so great, the puzzles werent very hard, Glados wasnt very funny, neither where all that "the cake is lie" crap and i dont get all the fuzz about that bloody companion cube...

Also, i dont see whats so special about Half-life 2, to me its just another FPS, not too different from CoD or Halo, maybe with better story telling

...

Also, Super Street Fighter V or whatever its called.

EDIT: i almost forgot !! GODDAMN GUITAR HERO!

Probably any of the Halo games after the first one. And the first one I'll only call above average at best.

Halo would be my choice. It doesn't seem to have moved on as a series. I played a bit of Reach and it seemed just like the first Halo. It hasn't really innovated. Compared to Halo, the Call of Duty games look like Shadow of the Frickin' Colossus.

Borderlands.

Plus the Modern Warfare games and Black Ops.

Oh, and probably any/all of the Halo games, but I've only played one of them about 2 times.
