My first name's Matthew, which I like, but it's very common. I went to school with around five other Matthews.
I also used to be called Matt when I was younger, but I don't really like that nickname anymore. However, if people still call me that (such as friends I've had for years), I don't correct them.
My ex would call me 'Matty' but...yeah...ex...so...not so much now.

My full name is Chloe Catherine Jervis. I have no complaints. Some people call me Chlo for short. It's a bit of a common name but I like my name, it just suits me.

Lex is fine. Dutch I think, and it's Latin for law/system of laws.

Middle name's Leon, after Trotsky. So that's interesting.

My name is Niko.
There are two variations, one with "k" (Niko) and one with a "c" (Nico). They are both pronounced the same way but it's more of a fact if you're are a Finnish Finn or a Swedish speaking Finn.
This is in Finland of course, No idea how it works in Sweden but then of ocurse Iron Maidens drummer is name Nicko, and also McBrain in lastname, how cool is that!!!
And I am happy with my name, Tapio is my second name which is a old Scandinavian God of forest so I am pretty cool about that too :D

Valtteri. It sounds a little childish, but V is a nice letter.
My second and third names don't sound all that good (Alpo, Eemil), but their starting letters are nice, which is why I almost always sign my name as Valtteri A. E. Rantamäki.
Wait, now that I'm on this subject, my last name is horrible.
It translates roughly to Shorehill.
I very much dislike it.

Brandon Lee Allen.

...I was apparently named after Bruce Lee's son. But otherwise it sounds pretty generic. I don't really have any nicknames, though people sometimes refer to me by my last name.

My name is David, named after my grandfather. Middle name is Cameron which I used to hate but now kinda love it. I feel 14% cooler having a middle name for some reason

My name is Lucy, I was named by my nan.
I'm kind of neutral on my name, I don't really like it because I know too many people with dogs called Lucy. But at the same time I cant imagine being called anything else.
I normally get called `Luce` by like.... everyone, even though I've never asked anyone to call me it.
One of my closer friends used to call me Lulu, which was really only acceptable from her. I'm not the `Lulu` sort.

Oh, yeah, and my family call me `Lucinda` occasionally, which confuses people.
They're like `Oh, you're called Lucinda?`
`Nope. Just Lucy`

My first name is Alexander. My middle name is David, after my father. Usually I go by Alex. Alexander is an awesome name, but it also takes too long to say and sounds a bit too formal, I think.

Whoop! Fifth name thread during my time here!

*cough*

I'm quite content with Xaio Majere, though most people misspell it as Xiao which is quite annoying.

Having the same last name as Raistlin and Caramon is pretty boss, though.

My name is Ashley.

No I am not a girl.

Ashley is manly name for manly men, just ask my good friend Mr. Williams.

Boomstick indeed, Mr. Williams.

Boomstick indeed.
Ashley has always been a guy's name to me. I don't understand all this 'Ashley is a girl's name' bollocks.

My name's James. I like it, although when people decide to play around with it, that pisses me off. My name is not Jim or Jimmy, it's not Jamie, but what pisses me off the most is 'Jams' which is what one of my housemates calls me, and it really gets to me for some reason.

I'm a JR. so my first name's origin is pretty obvious. Most people just called me Daniel, however a lot of people in high school called me by "Fitz", which is what you get when you drop the -gerald off of my last name. I kind of liked it, but only a few people called me Fitz in college. Most of the people who still do are old high school friends I don't see much anymore.
Y'know, that is a nickname that can be heavily misconstrued considering the archaic definition, even if it has gone out of use... :/

OT: I have a rather old fashioned name that I don't share with that many people. Still, I am commonly known as 'Fatso'. Make of that what you will... -_-
If I remember correctly it means "son of" or something. I remember reading somewhere that it means bastard too I think. None of that was ever brought up by any one in high school though.

I don't really mind my name... It's pretty uncommon in Norway though, only like 4 other people according to the internet is called Miki. Then again it's the internet, and it may be very wrong. People call me Cat or Pony sometimes too. Cat isn't strictly correct, my cat is actually named Cat and it causes confusion when some people think I'm refering to myself in the third person while talking about her. It's even more confusing when I talk about eating out of bowls, and how I love rubbing my face against the legs of chairs. Oh, and that time I pooped in the garden outside and ruined the plants.

I don't mind my name, Spencer. I have no nickname except the occasional "Spency-Poo" or "Spency-Wency" from joking friends and hot babes alike. I always wanted some sort of ballin' nickname that I would be recognized by.. Oh well, maybe someday.
Spencer is my favorite boys name X3. Me liking your name makes you awesome. Congratulations!

Joshua here, even though most of the Joshua's I know like to be called Josh I kind of like the full version more now that I'm maturing, but I could care less if someone calls me Josh.
