I'd agree, but I'm quoting Margaret Mead here when I say: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world." It's the same basic point, but I think your version would work better if you use a synonym for people to discribe "the masses at large", rather than the plural of person. To list an example for Margaret Mead's quote, think of the Brothers Wright.Kimarous said:"People are not smart. Individuals are smart. 'People' are stupid."
And if you put spaces between each line, it becomes a haiku!![]()
I propose a better answer with which to counter the question "Any regrets?" Namely: "Im not dead yet."Simon1 said:I regret nothing!
Wow... that's really hauntingly creepy. I you don't mind, I'd like to use that in a horror game. You know, Eternal Darkness style?FuktLogik said:404: Soul Not Found
I can quote myself for "technical" quoting.Farther than stars said:As nice as the idea sounds, it's not actually a quote until someone else quotes you on it. It's more of a statement. That said,
You're welcome.Booze Zombie said:"There's nothing more infuriating than silence and I'm not sure why."
My go:
"Beauty is something relative. If you don't think so, then you are a deontologist. If you don't think so, then you are in denial. If you don't think so, then we have ourselves a philosophical paradox." - From my personal metaphilosophy; "Three terms is all it takes for a debate to conclude. Anything beyond that is just going around in circles."
Oooh, sneaky me. Slipping in two statements. ;P

OT: I say "Give me strength." far too often for there to be room for much else, and that one's definitely not the product of my invention.
I never can tell without italics in these ambiguous situations...
I'm fairly sure that quote originally came from Al Capone...Khuzaki said:"Walk softly, and carry a big gun" (yay 40k!)
And finally:I'm no Christian but "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" is a good one, also "You have enemies? Good, that means you have stood up for something or someone at least once in your life" by Winston Churchill, and finally, "Science is organised knowledge, wisdom is organised life" by Immanual Kant.
?The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power
to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is
the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in
time. For the clock may soon be still.? - ?Eddie? O' Hare?
its said by the librarian, from dawn of war. I can't remember the expansion.Nickolai77 said:Khuzaki said:"Walk softly, and carry a big gun" (yay 40k!)
