So let me see here, cynical:

1. Believing that people are motivated by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity.
2. Doubtful as to whether something will happen or is worthwhile.

Seems like a sure way to living a depressing life if you ask me. But hey, it's the way to go right? Maybe I should be more like you.

Sorry but, I don't buy into that cynicism shit. I think I'd much rather go back to being happy. It's much nicer like that.

Never keep a secret from my wife.... this includes, but is not limited too "little white lies", job related secrecy, surprises, or my own feelings on something.

Never ask, when I don't want the answer to be No. Wording something as a request must always assume that it is acceptable for the person to say no. If I am in a position where I can make a demand of someone and expect them to do it without choice, then I should not request, I should instruct, or order.
