Your scariest nightmare?

My most recent would be me being chased by a clown puppet while a beautiful song was playing.
It was that song.
It didn't even attack me. It just chased me and teleport in front of me to cut me off and move slowly towards me.
When it did finally catch me it got really close and started to bleed.
I then woke up screaming.

I was dreaming about numbers, it wasx going like 32, 26 etc...
Until it reached 1 and it started stretching or something and some weird sound started playing.
This keeps going on until a blurry black dot comes and starts being blurry.
(keep in mind that the background is white and the numbers are black)

I ounce dreamt i was stuck in Silent Hill. My hair was standing up on end and i had shivers for almost the whole day...brrr, scary sh*t man.
Also i just started playing Alan Wake, and i woke up twice in a panic for a reason i can't remember. It's happened twice in a row, i think i should stop playing it.

Im one of those lucky, lucky people have who get nightmares regularly.
Generally its either being chased by "The Infected" (be it vampires, zombies, triffids or twilight fans), the other is where I wake up, look in the mirror and either I have no face or someone elses face.
Im in the middle of one right now, where everyone looks like Justin Bieber.

The only one I can remember (I pretty sure I had a much more scary nightmare than this) is I kept dreaming that the Alien (Xenomorph Alien) would appear and use it little tongue/mini mouth of it to devour my head.
The thing is I woke up from that dream when I fall alseep to dream again I get the same nightmare over and over from that night. I even had some control in that dream like I dream of having a shotgun to defend myself which didn't work so I dream I was inside a mech and it got inside and did the same thing. That was a long night.

Some normal scary dreams I have are about me being chased by something, and being unable to get away from it. Even if I have a gun I just can't get it to work, no matter how hard I try.
Another thing I just noticed in my dreams is how I dream of ghosts. Now normally I'm afraid of ghosts (or atleast the concept of a ghost), but in my dreams I seem to befriend them and develop close relationships. So, I'm basically seducing my greatest fear. What the fuck is wrong with me?

i have several, ill post as many as i can remember:
1. this is my worst one, when i was young i had a dream that i was at my nans house with my brothers and suddenly there was an air raid siren and the sky turned a reflective purple, and started to fall to the ground as a gas, we closed all the windows and doors but it still found a way in and we hid from it, if it touched us we would violently vomit and turn into a creature that was kind of like a mix between farcrys monsters and a vortigaunt that tried to kill everyone.
2. i was in a tall dark chamber and a giant red bug thing like ikuagamon from Digimon was in front of me and it had luminescent green tubes behind him, he then picked one of my friends/family members up and placed them behind his wing and they dissipated and somehow sunk into the green tubes behind him that seemed to be filled with some weird gel and then it chased me down pitch black corridors where all i can see is it.
3. running through an unknown house with a giant creature outside of it peering into the windows to try and see me and then kill me
4. one that everyone's had, seeing a long road ahead of me and then trying to make a step onto it only actually move while asleep and because there is no roads in a bed i jolt into an unpleasant waking
5. sitting in an empty house with no one anywhere, being completely alone forever.
and thats all i can remember.

Eh....Probably any nightmare where I was chased by zombie-like creatures that were made of shadows, and when I tried to run, my feet were slipping on the floor and I wasn't going anywhere...and then the thing walked up to me and extended a claw to my face.... >_<

After a couple of rounds of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 with my Magneto spamming friend... A few days later I end up dozing off during my English class dreaming of being in a black abyss with Magneto standing before me. As I stared at him he looking at me blankly I suddenly remember that day playing and the last words I hear are..

I end up jumping right out of my seat and scare the person sitting behind me. I'm not even kidding although keep in mind that I was a pretty new to the game before this and I usually got chipped to death trying to get to him.

I had this dream the other night where I was being chased around my house by Satan himself. Freaking SATAN.
I was in the driver seat of a car crossing a suspension bridge when an action scene that can only be described as "Micheal Bay" passes by. So guns and explosions everywhere. Unfortunately I am part of the collateral damage. I hear glass smash behind and to the left of me, while simultaneously feeling a numb kind of pressure FORCEFULLY punch it's way into the back of my skull. I seriously thought I had died. Upon later reflection, I guess I woke up at the very end and just starred blankly in the dark in shock for what felt like hours, but was probably just minutes (or even seconds).
I clearly remember feeling that absence of thought immediately after the dream. Which sounds really weird, but if you've ever tried to clear you're mind of any thought (if you're into meditation), you can imagine how impacting that blankness was when you're a kid and you've never considered not thinking before.
I dunno, it was a pretty messed up sequence of events that didn't make a whole of sense. It's stuck with me ever since.

"Horror" wise it was probably the series of dreams I had that Freddy (Nightmare on Elm Street) was chasing me and my friends around our village. I was about ten at the time and had never even seen a Freddy movie so I really don't know where it came from >.<
The most scared I've ever been however is during various waking nightmares I have when I get sick and have a bad fever. The worst is a recuring situation where my sense of perspective is all messed up... things that are close look like they are a hundred miles away, or I am a big clumsy giant, constantly making me scared I will stand on my pets, hurt someone or break something.

I was sitting in my nan's flat, and I heard screams from next door, I muttered something, I don't remember what... But it was a name. A few seconds later a clown with a grotestque grin burst into my nan's flat and runs insanely up to me, and stabs me four times in the chest. I sit there for what seems like hours with blood flowing over my hand as I clenched my stomach, and then my nan, who was there the entire time, turns around and asks me if I'd rather chicken or beef noodles.

I had several dreams where I ran away from something but my legs felt sluggish (like I was trying to run through a pool of mud.
I also had a sleep paralysis nightmare (where your body is paralyzed from the neck down)(when you dream your body paralyzes parts of your body so you can,t act out your dreams if you wake up badly your body would still be paralyzed and you start to hallucinate) and I saw this creature with sharp knife-like fingers looking at me I couldn't talk or scream and closed my eyes hoping for the best!

I had a dream recently where I just walked into a beachside flat at night and killed everyone inside with a rock. I could feel their skulls caving in as I beat against their heads. It was almost completely pitch-black, but I just knew where they were hiding, I could sense them. I could feel the blood trickling down my arms. Then when they're all dead I just sank to the ground screaming in laughter. Then grey demons come out of the shadows and drag me to Hell, it just faded and opened up beneath me and I could see it all. I woke up then with such self-loathing, I actually thought I deserved to go to hell.
Another is where everyone is gone. I'm in a city and it's empty. I'm wearing this wierd maleable flowing suit which I can't take off. It's like steel. All the buildings are covered in giant black symbols.
I'm looking around, but there's no one. I spend my whole life in that dream wandering this endless, empty city looking for someone, anyone. I'm trapped in this flowing skin. It's all so quiet. I just lay down and die of loneliness. I woke up with tears in my eyes.
