The ability to direct spinning helicopter blades at people. They've been known to lop heads off in freak accidents and it would just be sheer awesome to ninjas them with spining death.

For zombie apocalypse, rip the blade off an office paper guillotine.
For an RPG, a cordless power drill - for those sickeningly visceral OHK attacks.

I'm a big fan of the hand and a half sword. Slightly long and awkward in one hand, a little too easy for two hands. Allows for a quick transition in styles though.

pneumatic umbrella.
I could fence with it, block stuff by opening it, and I could stab and open to tear, zombies I guess, apart. Maybe, if we ignore physics, I could glide like if Marry Poppins decided to become Batman.
If we're going completely against physics, I could use the liquid on the umbrella as a whip.
I'd swiftly get tired of the obligatory accompaniment of "It's Raining Men."

a naginata that is so high-tech it can fold itself to the length of a comfortable walking stick for better transport, plus it does not get as much attention AND makes for a cool unfolding animation at the beginning of combat.

From what I have by my bed, I'd go with a KA-BAR, or a Gerber machete. But really, in a close space a machete is kind of pointless, it can't stab, and if you try to swing it more than likely you'll just hit the wall. The same with a katana, claymore, cutlass, what have you. So I'd take the KA-BAR. The knife is good enough for the USMC, it gets the job done.

A shillelagh. Nobody knows how to spell it, and you can take one practically anywhere if it looks like a souvenir item.

A carbon-fibre handled sledgehammer/Fireman axe. light enough, strong, ease of use, and blunt or slashing attacks

I claymore as long as I am tall. Even though it's heavy, it can act as a shield if need be, and it can scare the everliving shit out of people (again, if need be).
