Hates Thalmar, and is a kind werewolf. If he's attacked by what would normally be a non hostile NPC, he runs away/uses roar. Thalmar being the exception. He does gut beasts though. In human form, he'll sometimes use the animal assistance shout to pacify them though. Also, he seems to be aware of the real world, as two of the weapons he has made have been named for actual Gods. Such as Zeus' Lightning Bolt and Odin's Fury.

After contracting vampirism I had to start sneaking into peoples houses to feed, in doing so I started stealing all thier cutlery to fence at the thieves guild, after a few times I started placing shoes on the table as my calling card. I now like to think my character is known as "The Boot", the mysterious cutlery robber, stealing all of Skyrim's forks!

I simply cannot pass by a mining spot without breaking out the pickaxe. It's just not possible. I was actually mining some iron ore once, and a dragon attacked, but I just kept right on clinking away as he roared furiously and flew circles around me. I was all, "Yeah, yeah, I see you. Shut up, though, I'm BUSY."
This is brilliant.

OT: My character is the leader of the thieves guild... but runs around in heavy armour with a shield and a sword and has no understanding of subtlety.

If you do the Dark Brotherhood quests, you get an immortal demon horse. Really useful for those "My god, my horse just charged a giant" moments.

Also, horses should reappear next to you if you fast travel somewhere (excepting into walled cities, then they appear in the stables).
Actually, the horse isn't immortal. It has high health and health regeneration, but it can still die. Mine died after eating two simultaneous giant smashes and two stealth crit Daedric arrows to the rear. (I was aiming for the giants. Whoops.)

Sometimes goes insane. Runs away into the wild. Not heard of again for a solid week. Frequency of strange wolf attacks goes up temporarily...

Not all that strange though compared to some of the others here.

Aside from being a kleptomaniac(no surprise there), my character is a drunkard. In fact, he can't function properly without a bottle or two of mead(demonstrated by me not using power attacks, not blocking, not sprinting, hitting my companion multiple times, and forgetting to put on armor).

Oh, and he constantly makes it known to people that he's the Dragonborn(demonstrated by me using a shout every time someone says Dragonborn).

Taking role-playing seriously is quite fun, if a bit tedious.

My character is horrendously untidy, his house in Markarth is literally strewn with litter and junk. (Especially the enchanting room, everytime I make an enchanted item to level up enchanting I just drop it on the floor. I swear theres probably about 5 or 6 gold rings with +1% sneak on them somewhere)

It got to the point where I was ask to get a Daedra heart for a random side quest and I thought, I bet theres on on my bedroom floor somewhere. Sure enough, there was a Daedra heart lying on the floor partially under the bed collecting dust.

I am an assassin who takes the management of my two lives seriously. Every time I walk into towns I must be wearing civilian clothes and adapt to the villages when I do my trading and jobs. I also have a wife and home and do honest labor (cutting wood). However once a week my character heads to the Dark Brotherhood and takes on a contract. The only time I can walk into a populated town with my gear is at night, sneaking in the dark without notice.

Basically I am like Dexter Morgan in Skyrim, except a little more selfish and evil.

... I just realized I am a role playing nerd :/

My Nord, Kel, has embraced the werewolf thing a little too much. He's a cannibal (runs around with a ring of Namira).

He's married to Aela the Huntress, however, so he gets the hottest Nord in the game to .. umm .. eat out .... ..... .... with.

My Orc cannot, simply cannot, pass by Thalmor and not fly into a murderous rage. Also, previous posters talked about the mining thing. Yeah, it's become an obsession. I've even kept schedules for when specific good mines are set to "respawn" ores.

Smithing, it's serious business.

My guy picks the locks to every door in every village he encounters. He has never stolen anything, I just keep thinking the skill will come in handy some day.

People don't seem to mind, they don't even notice all of their doors are forced.

My character is an alcoholic imperial who steals sweetroles whenever she can. dunno why but i decided that being the dragonborn and facing certain death everytime she ventures out would make her want to indulge herself before she does so.

I left Lydia at home when I was doing the Dark Brotherhood quests because I didn't want her to know that about me. She's just too innocent. It'll be the same for the Thieves quests. But since I still take Lydia out more often than not, I moved Ysolda to my house in Riften where she wouldn't be lonely, because I don't even bother with that housecarl, whose name I don't even remember.

I also grab any book I think I might not have, but I haven't yet put them on shelves. I haven't bought a place with enough bookshelves yet. I'm contemplating buying up all the spellbooks again and making an entire bookshelf of just spellbooks.

And clothes, of course. Again, if I'm not sure I have it, I'll grab it. Though that hardly matters because my Nord female has the build of a 14 year old boy, so nothing is really flattering (some exceptions are: Miner's clothes, Jester's outfit, and the Dark Brotherhood outfit). I did a quest where there was a female chef, and her outfit looked cool, so I killed her to take it, and it looked stupid on me, so I loaded a previous save and left her alive.

Because that's my other quirk: I won't kill or steal from anyone unless I'm explicitly told to.

Brennan has this chest in his house
It's filled with about 300 enchanted weapons
500 assorted poisons
Enough ale to run a tavern for a century
Enough skooma to get rich under the counter

Please don't alert the guards, he's just one of those guys with a wife, a pseudo wife(housecarl that goes everywhere with him, sleeps everywhere with him) that likes riding horses off of cliffs to have them collapse underneath him

Let skyrims dovahkiin live in peace, away wear away with the whiterun guards

My Argonian Assassin, Plumbs-Rich-Depths (real creative, I know) spends so much being quiet that when she has the opportunity to kill someone in an especially noisy and spectacular fashion she simply can't pass it up and would actually break cover and sprint through arrow fire just to launch that poor Forsworn spinning and screaming off a cliff with a well-aimed Shout

My Nord get's his kicks from wrecking peoples homes and places of buisness. He'll just shout FUS RO DAH at shelves or tables, send everything flying everwhere and wreck the place. He's not violent to innocents or anything, for the most part, I think he's just a dickhead.

He also find his helmet uncomfortable, or wants people to get a good look at his face as he always takes it off in town. With a binded eye, a scar down his face, a huge swear of war paint and a mohawk I think he's just trying to scare the shit out of people. Dragon's cross the road so they don't have to walk past him on the street.

He also spends way too much time at the Blacksmith in Whiterun. Either he's crafting or he simply stands stock still outside the shop and waits, sometimes for days at a time, for the next shipment. But all he buys is ingots, but it's mainly iron. And though he is an incredible blacksmith he almost exclusively crafts nothing but iron daggers. He seems to be perfecting his craft on the most basic of weapons and it seems to be helping him, as he crafted an entire ebony armour set and orcish before that. It's almost like he's found the secret to getting extremely good at Blacksmithing in very little time.

EDIT: People also note that this Dragonborn can travel leagues in little time, though he is never seen on horse back. Strange rumors have been circling that he transforms into a beast that runs though the hills and kills all that it meets, but these are lightly complete fantasy.

My Nord warrior, Dufniall Madhawk, is pretty average, except for the fact that he sprints everywhere (I pumped my stamina up a heap and activated the Steed Stone so I'm not encumbered by my heavy armour). I also take off my helmet whenever I enter a city or talk to someone (I have it favorited).

Another thing is that while assaulting Stormcloak forts during the imperial legion quests (I'm the least patriotic nord ever. Shut up, I came from Bruma.) when we've completed the goal of reducing their numbers, he always allows the defeated forces to flee. Any Imperial soldiers who persist in trying to kill the surrendering soldiers are executed.

Then there's that one time when I met the old orc (The one who wants 'a good death') who I challenged and killed, then out of respect cast his body into the nearby river.

He also enjoys one-on-one fights with powerful opponents like Giants or Draugr Deathlords.
