Apparently, the entire video game industry just doesn't want to release anything in like ALL of next year because of GTA6. Not just big open world games about urban crime, but like cozy games and platformers and everything.
They better release their game sooner or later. If it's already done and it's not even within a two month release of GTA6, then ship it out and get it over with.

The months right before and after GTA6- just avoid games media, folks. It will be content creators bitching about having too many games to play, and anything with a 30+ hour campaign will suffer from reviewers who feel they're time is wasted by anything that isn't amazing or "challenging the art of games" or some crap. A lot of games and studios are going to be devastated by this.
I always have these type of people on ignore. So nothing has changed.

People are gonna buy Switch 2, don't let what you see on the socials tell you otherwise.
That take is ice cold. We know people are going to buy it. I’m of the opinion that the best thing that can happen for Nintendo - in my country at least - is that Sony announces the cessation of the PS5 Slim’s production because once those are gone, the value proposition of the Switch 2 goes up because now it’s only true competitor is $500 more expensive, not $50 (or even cheaper if you do some savvy shopping).

I do think though, that it’s going to have bigger install base at Christmas because the cost will mean most families are going to spread the cost out over the six months between release and December.

Probably going to a price drop during the holiday season. Probably just going to get it at that time.
