Really? Of all things that would have secret codes in them, you wouldn't think of a Call of Duty game.
Well the story is Black Ops is certainly more in-depth than any other game in the series. Its awesome, And the new twist this code adds (the OR IS HE) practiclly made me squee :D.

If that is true we could have a Tavish-Price Hudson-Mason showdown to end the cod series and Activision could turn their developers to making Barbie Horse Adventure games and make millions selling it to 12 year old kids, with a super addictive online.
That made me laugh.

Interesting, I suppose it takes a keen observer (or a crazy person) to...um, "crack" this...er, 'code'. Either way, I think it's pretty cool.

Whoa this makes me wanna pay attention to little details in other games, levels and in the Zombie Maps.

0.0
If Reznov was playable on some DLC level of a new Zombie Map, but if anything Reznov was my favorite charcter in WaW and Blackops and any news with him still in the game is good to me. Hell.... for all we know there could of been plans to tie him in the MW franchise... >.> Somehow

*thinking*

Come to think of it; I remember during a level of Call of Duty: MW 1 when the SAS first meets up with the Russians there was a soilder named (if I spelled it right...) Dimitri Pertranko

o.0

But im Off Topic now so don't mind that last part.

IDK but it does add for one heck of a story

GO TREYARCH!!!!!

my cousin said he ain't gonna watch a video from no cheater cuz he's the best on xbox & our other cousin is the best on PS3.

HIS WORDS NOT MINE. :)
...riiight. Sounds very...cool...

OT: This is pretty sweet. Reminds me of Dead Space's thing with the levels, except it's much more clever. The guy kind of comes close to being a bit cringe-worthy with the humour but he's an intelligent guy, clearly.

You gotta give Treyarch some credit for throwing in an easter egg that 99% of people wouldn't have noticed at all. Really adds to the "secret ops" feel and actually kinda gives it a bit more...dimension.

And after seeing this and reading the hidden CIA files, you have to imagine what kind of direction Black Ops is going next. Mason and Reznov versus a young Price? I hope so...

How long before we find out Reznov was somehow tied with Zahkaev and the two series collide with one another? It wouldn't surprise me if they find some way of tying Nova 6 in with the origin of zombies as well. Don't forget, that mode has its own storyline, hidden though it may be.

Really, CoD? Alpha-numeric substitution?

Master codemakers, you are.
Just what I thought, especially as he basically guesses what it means...he just forgets half the message

What's the point of making some uber-complicated code that nobody but the saddest of the sad will crack? Christ, internet people have to complain about everything.

Interesting, but it's not exactly cracking the Enigma Machine. I think it would help if the guy in the video wasn't absurdly pretentious.
It may not have been the enigma code, btu nobody else seemed to have done it.

Besides, his delivery was mostly tongue in cheek.

As much as I dislike Activision, I must say this is pretty cool. I reminds me of the old days when games like "Super Mario Brothers" were absolutly riddled with secrets. This is a differant kind of secret from some of the stuff in that game, but awesome in it's own way.

Now if only they Treyarch would break from the Kotick regime, and develop an RPG game where picking up on things like this was actually nessicary to beat the game. :)

And when I finally got around
Reznov's death
, I learn he might still be alive. Now Treyarch ABSOLUTELY needs to de a Reznov-Price team-up mission.

It'd take two months until one guy finds out. Then the entire world would finish the game without giving due respect to the cracker...er I mean the code cracker.

But hey, give credit to the guy, he actually found the code, and deciphered it. I certainly had no idea.

Oooo, this makes me want to play Black Ops just to see who this Reznov guy is and how the code applies to him.

Hmm...
I thought the only secret Black Ops held was how bad most people are at Zork. Heh, I remember my first time into the house. The thief gutted me.
Live and learn I suppose.

I know, seriously, it's barely a fucking code.

It really says something about the CoD fanbase, if it was a game like, say Portal, it would have been discovered and cracked like 6 hours after release.
