I'd immediatly guess his next review is going to be Prototype to compare the two games one after the other since that's what fans have been doing.
As far as the rest goes, it WAS very funny, but in the end it seems that Yahtzee is against any kind of plot resolution. I mean he criticizes "Indigo Prophecy" because it basically wrapped up the story from all the atmosphere "yes it is going somewhere" and finished things up with a bang. He then seems to compare any game that has a dramatic resolution to that, like it's a bad thing.
I mean in inFamous your dealing with a super hero (or villain) and one expects there to be antagonists for our protaganist to fight. You know, super villains and such. So of course dudes with powers are going to show up, and as time goes on they are going to become more powerful to present a credible threat to him.
He never reads this stuff, but if *I* had the oppertunity to really get Yahtzee to answer some questions, one of them would be "How would YOU have brought Indigo Prophecy to a satisfying conclusion?".
To generate tons of mystery and suspense with no payoff would be horrendous storytelling and he's ripped on games for lousy (or non-existant) resolution in the past I believe.
At any rate, decent review, and it's nice to see he's found another game he likes. Perhaps this will be the "Saint's Row 2" of 2009.
