A lava block all the way up in the roof? sure, you will get stone to mine out but would be fast to remove all the water from the inside.unacomn said:That's what I did, then I filled the inside with sand, a lot of sand, tons of sand, so I could remove all the water. I never checked if there was an easier way.Luke Cartner said:I keep meaning to do that but Im not sure the best way to start.unacomn said:The skull bit gave me an idea. I usually just try to build stuff that's undercover. I once made a mansion underwater, that required the displacing of every cube of water in the area, on by one, since I don't know a better method. It turned out great. The downside was I couldn't find it if I went to far away. So I built a tall tower with a lava lamp on top of it.
They they added sea creatures and I did it all over again.
Build a glass cage around the area first?
I honestly never thought of that. That's good. Thanks, I'll use it next time.kebab4you said:A lava block all the way up in the roof? sure, you will get stone to mine out but would be fast to remove all the water from the inside.

I wanna make an actual castle in the clouds... Followed by the minecraft world's first subway system.
But no, it's paypal only, and fuck me.
They don't. They just don't burn up in daylight like Zombies and Skeletons.ServebotFrank said:I wish the creepers didn't spawn in the daytime. I walked out of my starting house to find five creepers who immediately blew up my house.
Damn. I don't have a skull fort. Just a crude base that I didn't even bother decorating. In other words, I dug a deep hole out of soft ground (i.e. gravel and dirt), dug all the way to the bottom, and then called it my base.Proliference said:Maybe mine isn't as good as the last Skull Fortress but i'm pretty damn proud of it.
