Vanille is more of a support character. I would only choose her as a partner.

For my main, the way I see it, there are two obvious choices:

Ezio Audditorre da Firenze (Using Da Vinci's upgraded flying machine from AC: B, so I can kill the zombies with fire, and finish off the rest with the Sword of Altiar.) (Or better yet, just use the Apple of Eden so I can turn the Hord against each other. Zombie infighting!)

OR

Sgt. Avery J. Johnson. He's got a shotgun, and due to being a part of the origional biological modification tests of the Spartan-I program, he's immune.


Overall, I'd say I'd have to go with Ezio. He can do a lot of things to hide out, or utilize weapons to their deadliest potential. If I had to pick a partner, I'd go with Vanille from FFXIII (Healing powers, awsome magic power.)
