ahh people still posting about what should and shouldnt be posted? when i read a magazine, i expect a wide range of articles. when i read a news paper, i expect news. this is a magazine. which it says in the title. supposed to have fun and quirky articles.

on topic: ahhhh that answer about not answering the questions of where they came from reminds me exactly of lost, which really frustrates me lol.

Well I guess screwing a zombie's brain out would be a novel way of dealing with them. Disgusting, true, but novel.

DUMB! I say it is important to find out how the zombie came to be, yeah its about characters but i still think they should fit it in somewhere. After the last of the zombies die out, or after they finally reach a safe refuge i think we should find out.
No.

Explaining why zombies came to be instantly ruins the credibility of the show in question. Do you think explaining the origin of the cemetery zombie in Night of the Living Dead would make it better? Dear God, no. [http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/teamt/phelous/29510-night-of-the-living-dead-30th-anniversary]

Am I forced to assume that the zombie on human action occurs in the comic? Or was that just a stupid question someone had asked the guy?

Yeah, precisely. The only thing about Romero's zombies is that they can come from ANYONE that doesn't die a natural "old age" death, so they can easily overtake the whole world. When they're infected zombies, it seems less likely that the world will be destroyed. These seem to be actual undead zombies, so I'm ok with it. But if you find out just what made them and where they're from, you lose some mystery. I'd rather be given hints and clues to what happened instead of just told.

I haven't seen the last few episodes, but it was getting better. The pilot has been the best episode so far, but things are finally happening now. I don't really like the whole Soap Opera feel that they've got going on. I was hoping for more Fringe and Lost and less Party of Five and Dawson's Creek, but the series could still change on me. It's still worth a watch so far, so at least I've got plenty of time get caught up :D.

Vampires have always been inherently sexual, slim pale night dwellers that stalk the young and attractive, seductive because of their forbidden nature, and the whole biting thing just scream sexual substitution.

Well at least they were sexual until that Bloody Twilight Woman came along and ruined them.

However having sex with a zombie is just plain creepy and anyone who thinks it is needs to see a therapist.

This reminds me a zombie omminbus book I once read where a third of the stories were about the living dead coming back to get it on with loved ones or complete strangers. Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Wait, why would that even be an option?! Did it occure in the comic or something? Having sex with one only looks like a good chance of getting infected, swapping bodily fluids and all.

I mean with a vampire it makes sense, one of their powers is their sexual prowess and seduction powers. But zombies...

Lol, why would someone even consider anything like this. You weird people...

But what I think would be real news, is that they nixed drama overuse. As it is now, I'm not even looking forward to the show; not enough brain splashes over screen. And I mean REALLY... a zombie series and all they do is build these relationships and campfires. Instead, it should be "MEAT MEAT MEAT BOOM MEAT MEAT MOAR MEAT EXPLODIN' BRAINZ ZOMBIE CAN HAZ BRAINZ FOR DINNA" and not this drama.

Having a story about a vampire/zombie being in a romance with a human is just about as wrong as having a love story between a human and a cow/pig/sheep. (Zuccini/cucumber/etc. if that human happens to be vegetarian.)

Haven't these writer's mothers taught them not to play with food?

I love this show, and like that they don't know where the disease came from.
I also like how it's about the fighting to survive, and human interaction, rather than a mindless gorefest.

I'm glad they won't be going into how the zombies came about. As soon as they tried to do that in the season finale at the CDC, it quickly became pretty stupid.

Damn you Escapist! Before now I had never even thought about zombie-human romance, now you've got my mind thinking about how that would work (from a biological perspective, and assuming you could prevent the biting instinct during the act)

Was that in the comic?
Not so much romance as keeping the zombie chained up to have somebody to talk to while going about on foot from parts unknown until you reach the group.

I hope like hell that rules out The Governor's 'kiss' scene from the comic.

Because...seriously.

Zombie incest pedophilia.

Seriously.
