if any of you had read the Zombie Survival Guide you would know that the crowbar is the best thing to have against zombies. No moving parts so it won't ever jam or fall apart. It's sturdy so it won't break (so long as you get a good quality one). It doesn't rely on ammunition or fuel, which are limited in the zombacolypse. Finally, it doubles as a tool for helping you survive. Crowbar, FTW
A sledgehammer would work just as good, maybe even better.
If you can break something open, you can smash something open. And thanks to the great smashing power you can break even more things open.

Drawback, it's slightly heavier.

Also far more efficient in clubbing down zombies.
a fireaxe easily beats the both of you.
becuase its lightwieght its sturdy and doesnt rely on anything.
it can cut through doors it can open stuff. its lieghter then sledgehammer
excellent hacking device.

8 of these claws, one for each finger.

closed fist punches can be amplified by the slicing blades, also since zombies are soft I might not break my fingers with a straight handed stab. Plus they would look so awesome.
Dude you have 8 fingers?
Edit: wait, thumbs don't count as fingers, do they?
excluding the thumbs, but I edited it to say 10 because I thought of puncturing zombie necks with a grip involving 4 fingers and one thumb.

First off.
ima throw down some guns that would be the most usefull.
i live in an army town litered with barracks (colchester england)
Small arms:
SA-80 with hollowpoint rounds.
MP5 submachine gun (in vehical)
Glock 16 (the ability to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger is a helpfull one)

Melee:
A simple combat knife on my legso i can grab it easy.
A larger machete on my lower back.
and a crow bar most likley found in my vechical

Explosive:
i could always barracade myself with some of my friends in his gun shop...hard as shit for a zombie o get in...maybe even impossible.
soo becuase of the ammount of ammo we could take all the usless ammo and take the gun powder out and put them into a bottle and then put them into medium sized gas cans filled with marbles and nails and then put actual gas in them...

Vehicle:
I have a large van its old and extremely heavy so its a hard thing to push over.
so i could drive 10 minutes to my friends gunshop and then take refuge.
theres also food stores right around there so its easy to have a fast bust in and grab as much food as possible and get back in

molotoves are usless.
they are already dead it will take awhile for something liket hat to burn to death.

the gunpowder in the bottle in the gas can...the bottle of gunpowder is to have more propellent for the shrapnel in the can.

Ah yes, the mighty crowbar.

EDIT: Ha, a bugbait would be awesome. What zombie could reach you when you have an entire army of alien creatures surrounding you and obeying your command.

You realise that now your just going to have RADIOACTIVE zombies who will give you cancer and might horribly mutate but not die and their going to pass the radiation to every other zombie they come into contact with and they'll spread it to the soil and oh god the horror.

I'd use my trust Bowie knife and a crowbar, easily replaceable weapons, lightweight and silent so as not to attract the horde

Battle music would have to be Queen's don't stop me now
the explosion would no doubtedly kill them and then they are left to wander where theres no food sources.

A large compound with thick, tall walls, access to an underground spring, and farmable soil inside. Like an old jail (the new ones mainly rely on things like electric fences and barbed wire coils, which wouldn't do shit against zombies). Then I'd go with the old maxim: A blade for close range, a shotgun for the door, a 30.06 to reach out and touch them, you don't need anything more.

Slightly heavier? I take it you have never weilded one, if any of the tools.

I would say that a baseball bat or crowbar would work well, it depends entirely on what type of zombie we are talking about.
I actually have used a sledgehammer. Indeed it's more than "slightly" heavier, but still swingable and holdable without too much troubles.

I just don't think a crowbar is as effective in beating things hard enough.
A crowbar is difficult to use as weapon with two hands, while not being able to deliver lethal blows as fast with a single hand.
Even if you would really hard, it could get stuck.

Heckler & Koch HK416, they are almost indestructible. They can be fired when full of sand or water, upside down, and can be fitted with high capacity C magazines.

I agree with you, but whilst I can handle a sledgehammer, the chances of using it against multiple opponents succesfully, without the element of surprise, would be slim.
That's where the "zombie element" kicks in, if zombies would avoid getting hit by a sledgehammer they'll also avoid getting hit by crowbar, getting incinerated by a flame-thrower, being shot in the head with a shotgun and every other anti-zombie offence.

I think a pole axe would be the best melee weapon you could have.
It has reach, which is very important, has three different weapons on it (an axe, a spike and either a hammer or a smaller axe) and you can trip zombies with the staff.

thick, spiked, steel gauntlets and a few hits of pcp. I need the fingers seperate to make fists,middle-knuckle fists, claws, spear hands, outward whips, or sword hands. The music? Indestructible by disturbed, Falling down by atreyu, hammerhead and You're gonna go far, kid by offspring, renegade by hed pe, ten ton brick by hurt. I literally have a zombie apocalypse playlist on my samsung Juke for just the occasion.

As for my living situation, I'd either bunk out at a decently populated area to start a faction of sadistic renegades or find a well-armored place and get a Fallout 3 Dukov kindof situation.
