I haven't seen anything in the event yet, but I have glanced at this thread and looked at the console. I... like the controller? I don't think I like the system all that much, not gonna lie. I give it praise for at least being unique and different looking. But, uhh... yeah, it makes me think of those weirdly shaped gaming PC cases. And since I moved away from those and prefer a more minimalist design for my PC cases, the PS4 kinda does it for me a bit more than this thing. But that's only half the story. Once I actually look at the event I'm sure the games will sway me just fine

The contours and venting could grow on me. I also like the textured inner surface of the shell. They’ve done boxy designs enough already I suppose, and it’s smart to differentiate from their competition of a similar name.

Buy a couple bad dragon dildos and put them on each side of it, that way peoples attention will be drawn to the dildos and no one will notice the ps5. Problem solved.

Looks pretty cool. I like the speed of movement and looks like you control plants...?

Play as a cat game... YES!!!!!
-Returnal
The planet changing aspect is cool but the gameplay looks generic.
-Oddworld: Soulstorm
Looks like a 2D adventure full of setpieces.
-Tokyo: Ghostwire
This was really disappointing. I was hoping this game would be some moody atmospheric horror game (sorta like Fatal Frame) but it looks like another full-on combat game (and it doesn't look that good either).
-Solar Ash
Starts out overlooking a black hole, awesome. Looks really interesting.
-Demons Souls
I've played like 2 and a half of these things and I couldn't be more tired of them honestly.
-Deathloop
Arkane is back with another amazing looking game. It looks like they saw what StealthGamerBR does with the Dishonored games and made a game where you do that and only that.
-Pragmata
Looks interesting, not much shown.
-Horizon II
Yes, please. I hope Guerrilla was/is able to have John Gonzalez return for writing duty on the sequel.

Interested in HZD 2, RE8 and Spider-Man: Second Son. Already Platted Demon's Souls on the PS3 so that's out.

I'm glad they revealed some games I'm actually interested in. Super down for a Demon's Souls Remake, and Spiderman.
Holy shit that console is ugly though. I really hate the design of it, and I really hope white isn't the only color on launch. At least if it's all black it'll be less noticeable.

It looks like it was designed by the people who made that Haydee game.
Many people never clean, so thet inner surface of the shell will turn brown/yellow really quick.
Juat seem like an unnecessary 'feauture' for dust and debris to accumulate.
And you know this, despite the fact that none of them have been released yet...how, exactly?
Another thing I noticed though that this must be the smallest leap ever in graphic fidelity in a console generation. Though ofcourse it's still early day and most were CG trailers anyway.

RE8 certainly looks like it borrowed a lot from Fromsoft aesthetically, and it's a nice visual departure. Also appears Capcom doesn't know what to do with Chris Redfield anymore so they just turned him into a villain. Which I'm fine with, the dude was always the most boring out of everyone anyway.
How do you know he's a villain? He probably has his nonsensical Resident Evil reasons.
Absolutely infuriating that there's no price yet.
But otherwise, not bad I guess. The design is hardly my fave, wayyy too much in the direction of the cringey gaming PC aesthetic, but since I plan to buy whatever "slim" version they come up with, it doesn't really bother me.
The games tho, I was pretty impressed. Most of them are either fairly new/brand new IPs, or long lost IPs being brought back. I wonder if they're waiting for all their big 2020 PS4 games to come out before they release gameplay videos.
