Odds are that A Christmas Story 2 will be non-canon. Kinda like how the Van Damme Universal Soldier movies from the late 2000s ignore all of the numbered sequels and The Return. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that pretty much nobody is asking for this. I don't think there's millions of people out there just begging for a sequel to "A Christmas Story" with everyone aged 30 years set in the 1970's reminiscing of that time Ralphie almost shot his fucking eye out.
Even worse, there's already a sequel called "A Christmas Story 2". It was direct to video in 2012. I literally just learned this. I can't unlearn this now.

I still say that goes to Alita. I'll give the Rocky movies starting at III, 4th place in this regard. 3rd place goes to Best of the Best 2-4. Seriously, it like the live action equivalent of Jojo in terms of how fast the genres change, and the focus shifting of main characters. Best of the Best is basically Karate Kid for adults or Rocky 1. Best of the Best 2 is Bloodsport. Best of the Best 3 & 4 is straight up fun 90s martial-arts action schlock. Phillip Ree is fighting the KKK/skin-heads in 3, and terrorists in 4. The first movie is a Ta-Kwan-Do tournament with James Earl Jones as a coach to the team!

You mean like when people use interpolation AI software to turn originally 24fps live action footage into 60fps? Yeah, it more often than not looks blurry and kind of jerky and uncanny. And it's even worse for animation. Looks godawful.
I just know my father either buys movies with this a lot or his TV setup causes it to happen.
Look up whatever TV brand it is and turn off whatever they call Motion Smoothing.
