" one of these reasons is that the board is hoping to "procure for themselves and senior management [...] significant and immediate benefits"

Wait, Corps can be sued for this? I was under the impression that was just how capitalism worked and there wasn't anything to be done about it, as scummy as it is.Because if that's the case 90% of Americans would have a reason to sue their corpo employers for being greedy bastards.

Or is the problem not that they're enriching themselves(normal corpo behaviour), it's that the shareholders weren't getting a cut?
It appears that, with added context of the possible insider trading, all but a select few (chummy) shareholders were given any chance to have a say in the deal at all, and that perhaps the whole thing was just another last dodgy cash grab before a certain corrupt CEO would likely be ousted by shareholder decisions after his name tainted the brand so badly in the last couple of years, no names mentioned, but they do rhyme with "Kobby Botick."
So yeah, a lot of rich filth fighting over who gets to hoard the most shiny things, with a couple of them trying to be a little more ambitiously filthy than the rest.

I swear that game is always being pushed back and canceled (but not really). This feels like another long con, like Star Citizen.
Well, SC is getting a ton of cash from not being released and it appears there's a terrible(and no doubt related) case of scope creep. I have no idea what's going on with 6 days and I don't really care. Not meant to defend SC, but I think these are two different cases of perpetual development hell.

Six Days in Fallujah is allegedly gonna come out in december. We'll see if that doesn't get pushed. Granted that's already probably gonna see a lot of controversy regardless depending how it addresses the war crime aspect of that event.
I thought that shit came out already. Isn't just a stupid asset flip in the source engine with a controversial name and subject matter. AKA stir up drama for clicks The Game?

The game's been a development since 2008. They were going to come out earlier around 2010, but backed out because the army threatened them do the fact that they're showing a gray shades of war, and they are afraid that they would show Arab terrorists and Muslim extremists as "the good guys". Even though it was pretty clear, that's not what they were going for. The developers, or the original ones, quietly backed out of the game, yet the army never followed through on their thread, and forgot about the situation entirely before that point. Cowards and jackasses.

The primary and overriding concern of a corporation is to provide maximum return for shareholders. That is its legal responsibility. That is why, if "corporations were people", they would be psychopaths.

So the Sony State of Play was alright, nothing that blew my nuts off but let's face facts...There was only one thing that was going to do that anyway.

So they showed more Forespoken which still looks cool. The character seems cringe but the gameplay looks decent so we'll see.

They showed a new game from Capcom that definitely is NOT Dino Crisis and that is disappointing because what it is, is dogshit.

Gundam Overwatch was shown, also dogshit.

Then a blank and white samuari game that looks like Sifu/Ghosts of Tsushima which could be sick.

A collection ofevery classic Ninja Turtles game which is fucking dope....except Konami so that'll likely be a mess.

Then Square Enix showed a new JRPG/X-Com style game, and a new Valkarie Profile game. Both of which look alright.

And the Final Fantasy Origins game has a new demo today. Which still looks like Nioh with a Final Fantasy skin and will probably be awesome.

If M2 is doing the porting job like they did with the Contra and Castlevania Collection, then I am not worried. It's got all of the best Turtle games (except NES platformer Turtles)! It's even got all of the versions of Turtles in Time, and Hyper Stone Heist. That is what I'm talking about! Everything looks good from what I am seeing. I no longer have to worry about buying an 1UP Arcade Cabinet.

Looks like Lost Planet crossed with Left 4 Dead & EDF with Dinosaurs. There is even character that looks like Regina with a Russian accent. Seriously, Capcom, make a new Dino Crisis! I am still interested with Exoprimal though. I am sickened, but curious!

I don't trust it. it looks like an even worse version of Anthem.

Getting Spider-Verse and Miles Morales vibes from the choice of music. Looks wicked sick! Can't wait to try her out.

They should have started selling guns you can use in game for $100.

On second thought, after viewing the trailer a couple of times, Exoprimal is to starting click. I wanna see where this goes.

For a guy so quicky to shit on live service games and standard AAA-crap, you are highly optimistic towards this one lol.
