What a shocker. I hope the parents that let their kid(s) play this game, will love paying extra for the subscription.
Because they've been playing the same damn game for nearly 10 years now. And everyone's been paying $60+ for it again and again.
and now you can pay more fuckers HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
I mean seriously GTA 6 is gonna have this same crap in it when it comes out, so I personally think it's a wasted cause.
Yet there'll be plenty of people foolish enough to buy it. Either because it's GTA, they're trying to piss off their parents & relatives, impress their friends, or kids just want to play an M rated game that will give them "street cred".
The more I see this shit, the more I'm fine with never seeing RDR3

As someone who used to play GTAO, almost every one of these "benefits" is near worthless
Monthly in-game $500,000? Yeah anything cool to spend money on costs double, triple, and quadruple that amount
A car? gee, I mean it's not like someone can grind or god-forbid use shark cards get cash for that car
Free autoshop? Again, can be purchased by getting money via regular means
Free Car Meet Memebership? $50k is NOTHING. In fact I'm pretty sure if I do a couple of quick missions I'll have that amount in no time.
A super yacth? You are aware some player already own that yacht, right?
Free new clothes? Oh gee, I guess it's something to go crazy for! Not like there are any other better and diverse selection of clothings! /s
A paint for special vehicles? It looks stupid and I see only attracting a small number of players
Free paints at auto shops? GTFO
XP Boosts? Umm, this isn't a fucking mobile game.
It really pains me to see GTAO in such a state, because there can be fun, but RS is willing to so petty about monetizing the game.
It's almost as bad as FO76 subscription, if not worse

-Central Yarnhem, a creepy gothic inner city

-The hidden village that I can't pronounce nor spell, another creepy lower city
-The Forbidden Woods, which is a creepy forest/swamp

Who knows, maybe it'll beat the record the last demo set for 'most quickly exited and deleted game' which was their Contra re...boot(?) demo.

I wonder how the show hits with people who dont know the games at all versus the obvious fandom. Maybe fand think it is balls but newcomers to the universe are on board, which actually might be a better thing in the long run maybe.
Rouge Corp was a sequel that has been in development.....since 2011! There was a lot of bad production going on between that and Konami's constant restructuring, and then later phasing out video games. What a waste. It sucks because I like the character design of the playable characters. I don't even mind the Neo Contra style of play, there's so much wrong with the gameplay. It is pretty much anti-Contra.
We'll see, but I highly doubt casual viewers are going to be that much enamored with it.

At least MGSV was generally a good game which some problems but at least it felt like there was passion involved despite the issues. Nothing after that has felt remotely like anything more then a cynical appeal the accountants and stockholders. Konami isn't making games for people to have fun playing, they're making occasional revenue generation products because the stonkholders will get mad if they don't.
And don't think I don't see you trying to sneak out of the fucking room while you think I'm not looking, SquareEnix! Just because you still make a few good games doesn't mean the rest of your bullshit is forgiven. You're just not totally hopeless like Konami(currently eating the crayons) over there......YET.

Aside from me being curious with Forspoken and the Valkyrie Profile sequel, I have little attachment with SE. All of that died with FFXIII and 3rd Birthday.
FFVIIR and FF14 are apparently good(I haven't play either but the press is good). I've heard good things about Triangle Strategy and Live a Live is getting a Remake and I look forward to that.
So there's still some good talent there, but there's also some greedy corpo fucks and less talented people keep fucking up some of the other projects(Bablyon's Fall comes to mind, unless platinum deserves the blame there)
