Apparently there's such a things as MAGA fantasy literature. Ladies First, by Liberty Adams. Seriously, read that synopsys.

To be honest, I kind of want to read it. Call it morbid curiosity. You know, like those Chuck Tingle novels.
Here's a video about a book in a similar vein, of rather, targeting a somewhat similar audience.

The book is called "Trigger Warning", it's a little old at this point, so you might have heard of it.

The lady in the video does a pretty fun read of it.

Also have a look at Ben Shapiro's and Dave Rubin's books. No wonder they are scared of 'Libs'.

Oh, for Bast's sake.

I hate them so much. So very much. Its difficult to describe.
There is an obvious rationale behind it, irrespective of whether it's any use: it attempts to send out a message that the City of London is open for crypto. The UK finance industry has of course lost a substantial chunk of business due to Brexit, as firms have moved EU-relevant operations out to the EU. So the government wants to build up replacement activity, because it is nothing if not in thrall to the finance industry.

Let's hope they don't get hacked and lose all that money, like that one business did!

Give it 6 months and Nigeria will lose it's claim to being the source of most fake prince scams.

(Though, they could charge people to prove they weren't part of the UK royal family with their reputation)

Since NFTs took off, I'm noticing a *lot* fewer calls about my cars extended warranty.

This is probably related

Presumably the BoE intends to create this such that the NFTs are assets that private entities buy from the UK BoE with other currencies. As the government will have already banked the money, presumably if it gets hacked it's the private entities who lose their assets, not the BoE.

Lucky them. So the government faces no consequences of this?

Who wants some vintage Tucker Carlson that's resurfaced in all the talk about CRT being pedophilia?

Every accusation a confession.

I prefer it when he wants to melt in the green m&m's mouth.

On a more serious note after reading the Tucker transcript, how much of the alt-right griftosphere is actually abhorrent fucking sexual predators just testing the waters with what they can get their audience to accept? Tucker straight up defended marrying children. There was no nuance or misunderstanding and then he later tried to reel it back in when he kept getting called out on it. Similar thing with Jordan peterson. Did an interview an argued for enforced monogomy, those were the literal actual words he used and when that became the headline he tried to claim that his words were being twisted or misrepresented.

Like the alt-right tries to paint themselves as some new counter culture but they are absolutely just the most vile evangelical Christian bullshit repackaged for the youth with a thin veneer of "free speech" because they saw a weird opening in the "more tits in games" demographic.

Yeah, but will I freeze or burn, that's what I want to know.
If you're in Britain, freeze is more likely as it is thought that more cold water ocean currents will come from the Arctic, also pushing the warming streams that head over from the Caribbean southwards.

The government might develop an energy policy to cope with this. Unfortunately, the current energy policy seems to be little more than "We're not building onshore wind farms because they spoil the view from Tory country homes".

Yeah, I'm on the NE coast so (a) I will freeze, probably this winter, and (b) we already have windfarms on the coastline because we aren't Toryland (though I actually kind of like them - turbines, not Tories). Would certainly prefer to see more windfarms going up than identikit housing estates, though appreciate I'm biased by having a home.

Ugh. British housing architecture. This country has had precious little vision since WW2: just endless, dull red boxes with small windows and no style, or concrete towers that are barely tolerable when made, never mind with 30 years wear and tear.

In a world where cheap energy should be a plus, onshore makes sense. The Tories have basically said Scotland can do that, but England's green and pleasant land needs to service the enjoyment of rich landowners.
