Apparently there's such a things as MAGA fantasy literature. Ladies First, by Liberty Adams. Seriously, read that synopsys.

To be honest, I kind of want to read it. Call it morbid curiosity. You know, like those Chuck Tingle novels.
So I read some excerpts from this... ridiculous thing. Hoo-boy.

To start with, everyone sounds exactly the same, all the conservative characters are Mary Sues, none of the leftist characters behave in a manner consistent with any leftist I know, and the author cannot shut the fuck up about how enraged and irrational all leftists are compared to God-fearing Trump supporters. It presents a vision of the MAGA movement that exists only in the minds of MAGA cultists and shows a profound inability to empathize with anyone outside of the cult. Where ever the author comes to a point where they ask themselves a question like, "Why do all those feminists dye their hair weird colors?" or, "Why don't leftists think Trump is the second coming of Jesus?" the answer is invariably, "Because they're full of rage and hatred."

The romance genre is known for pumping out more than a fair share of cheap crap, but this? This is less a romance novel than it is MAGA propaganda cosplaying as a novel.

First Union at an Amazon Warehouse. Great right? Well, it's a short-term solution. Unions didn't stop midwestern factories from moving to other countries, and it won't stop the automation of jobs. Given the rise of remote jobs, unless nearly everyone on Earth joins a union, workers are still screwed. Automation will soon create lots of underemployment, and unemployment.

No one has any answer.

A few that came to my mind are that the left should get guns and hacker specialists to counter capital owners and their drone militaries. Another one is through legal means where people fight for more rights to XYZ; food, housing to a good quality of life. Another one is where people do an inverted digital general strike where they stop giving data to the people who fund the AAI and AI consumer companies since it's likely human data fuels the rise of AI and automation in exchange for welfare from the government/elites/capital, the last one is that people start breaking stuff related to AI, automaton, and AAI such as cameras, and sensors.

Again all that I am proposing are medium-term solutions, and once AI police/armies get more advanced with enough data the rich could simply clone human beings give them a simulated environment, have them pick or buy XYZ out of how many choices, and then either select them into the elite or execute them if they show signs of resisting the capital owners.

ha ha, we're all gonna die
You have made a fatal error here.

You assume we not already dead we just don't know it yet and are waiting around for it to happen which is a really worrying actual possibility and has been for over 10 years now.

The High Court of Pakistan on March 30 ruled that the Prime Minister of Pakistan was not allowed to publish the contents of a threatening letter from US diplomats to Pakistani diplomats concerning consequences for Pakistan should Pakistan fail to remove its Prime Minister from office because it would violate the Official Secrets Act of 1923. Subsequently, the Prime Minister was removed from office after a no-confidence vote. The protection of the "Official Secrets" of Pakistan played a role in helping a foreign government to meddle in the affairs of Pakistan, ultimately bringing about the collapse of the Pakistani government. Whatever you might think about Imran Khan, there is certainly an irony there.

Amazon is not manufacturing. Amazon is warehousing. It's logistics and delivery, you can't outsource that to China.
Yes, but it doesn't stop automation from companies like Boston Dynamics in the future.

Fun fact I got automated out of a job I was going to move sideways into last month and now I'm possibly moving sideways to another department that can't be automated (yet)

^ I'm in a FB group that seeks out pointless letters sent into newspapers, primarily in the UK.

Imagine doing yourself irreparable harm solely to disobey a local council which wouldn't have the first idea you even did it. The mind boggles.

A children's book author was blocked from reading his book to students because, wait for it... a single, solitary parent complained the book was too gay. Spoiler: it wasn't, but the school district blocked it anyway and made teachers take down anything rainbow and unicorn related.

This is a feature, not a bug. The right wing are so opposed to LGBTQ people's continued existence, that they consider blocking a children's author with a book that has nothing do with being gay is acceptable collateral damage. This is the self-proclaimed party of free speech, everyone. They hate gay people so much, they are willing to attack and demean their fellow straights for not being hateful enough.

I've actually read that book. It's pretty much unicorn Footloose for kids

Which is to say, that's exactly why it got banned

Edit: sorry accidentally double quoted
