Usually not as a requirement but women communicate height expectations just by giving their own height in their bio. But more importantly online dating is like a parallel world in which the sex ratio is super skewed and girls are smothered with attention from guys who should be doing something else but see online dating as the only good alternative. While it's still real, I'd apply the situation with a grain of salt into the offline world.

The gender pay gap is just bullshit. It doesn't substantiate even the slightest until raising a family becomes relevant. Discussion around education, career and lifestyle goals and expectations can easily be very gender equal nowadays. Anyone left pointing at the gender wage gap when talking about the remaining differences is clueless and ignorant.

Are you seriously arguing that a teacher posting a link labelled "books the state doesn't want you to read" that goes to a page with the header "Books Unbanned" which links to multiple sources of information about which books are banned including a reading list of banned books curated by the Brooklyn Library and accessible through that website was intending for them to use that link to get to Diary of a Wimpy Kid on a totally different part of the site?

No, and that wasn't really the point I was making. The point I was making was that how a user navigates from the 'Books Unbanned' navigation page-- which is a navigation page, not a specific list-- is not really the fault of whoever sent that URL. The user in this case even separately searched for the contents of one of the books outside of the site and then blamed the teacher for the results of her search.

It's akin to someone suggesting I go to a public library in town because they have a good (I don't know) politics section. I do that, find a book with a sex scene in there (amongst the hundreds of others) and blame the person who made the referral.

Well, I'm never said it didn't exist. I have seen it, but also not very much at all. At a guess, I would have said 10% at most. With the added note that 1) people use mulitple sites so it might be showing up mulitple times in the data. 2) I would assume that most women caring about money would also care about height

Unless the companies have property to confiscate or employees to arrest (which would be a pretty extreme move) in Russian territory (or a friendly foreign country), no, not really. About the best they can do is put up their own version of the internet like China did. But the Chinese accidentally... regularly find many ways around this. And they dont have the social media infrastructure to do this quickly
