Nope, it's owned by a trust and loyal fans like you.

If it was owned by Murdoch it would be much more right-wing.
The Guardian Media Group is owned by Thr Scott Trust

Edit: I looked it up. I thought he was part of the Trust. He is not

Again I could care less if Russian feelings are hurt by NATO expansion. I don't care. Fuck Russia, and fuck Putin.
I'm not appealing to "Russian feelings" as if we're just talking about the government getting angry or embarrassed.

I'm talking about civilians. You're intentionally ignoring the death and suffering unleashed on innocent people who had nothing to do with the government's bullshit. Collective punishment for the actions of a government, taken against the civilians of that government's country, is moronic.

I agree with protecting Ukrainian civilians who are innocent, but not Russian ones from sanctions. If you hate Russia and are Russian then either leave, desert the Russian military, protest, or fuck off.

Also if we don’t sanction Russia they kill more Ukrainian civilians.

As for NATO expanding west, it was democratically done by democratically voted in governments. Yes as a president of the US you could have vetoed it but it would be against US interests. Peace is only useful if your benefiting from said peace, and have nothing to gain from being aggressive. This is why you academic types are never involved in government foreign policy. This is why only the realist get in government. You don’t know how to exploit openings in foreign policy that give you leverage. Ukraine and Eastern Europe joining NATO against Russia gives it purpose, and gives the EU and US leverage in exchange for making the geopolitical situation more dynamic and unstable which I will grant you it does.

We weren't talking about sanctions. You were encouraging invasion.

If you hate Russia and are Russian then either leave, desert the Russian military, protest, or fuck off.
So your proposed solutions are... a list of things that would get you beaten, imprisoned or killed in Russia, or are entirely unfeasible for the elderly, children, those in poverty, or the disabled.

You're not being serious. You're just lashing out.

Also if we don’t sanction Russia they kill more Ukrainian civilians.

Ah yes, a good old dose of entitled "Just pick up your life and move, or do something that will almost immediately and definitely fuck you and your family."

It's always the US citizens/residents who think anyone who isnt standing up to this shit deserves it. Nevermind that in the countries discussed, it's a literal death sentence. You guys have the right and protection to stand up to the corrupt, evil shit in the US and still don't manage to do it. But don't let that stop you from armchair criticism about the poors in fucked countries not risking it all.

I mean, I guess the whole of the US populace was fine with the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan because we didn't immediately rise up in bloody revolution

Why would I support a NATO invasion of Russia RIGHT NOW? They have thousands of nuclear weapons and a nuclear triad. What I support is giving Ukraine long-range missiles to strike deep inside of Russia, and F-15EX & F-16V plus Abrams Sep 1 to 3, but not a nuclear holocaust.

Now as for the long term, yeah I do support an invasion of Russia, and China. Eventually, US AI, US-directed energy weapons, and layer missile defenses will render Russian and Chinese WMDs irrelevant, and then we do an invasion of Russia, then after winning that China.

As for Iran, it depends. IF they turn into a Persian democracy, I don't care what their politics is, I wouldn't support an invasion, but if the Ayatollah,s, and Mullahs still control it, then I would support a Robo-Cop-like invasion with hunter-killer drones, and AI-manned vehicles.

I don't support invading Vuvlezula. Syria is free real estate to regime change.

If you are a young male in Russia you could just pack a single suitcase, and fly to Kazakhstan.

I actually think NATO countries that are large enough should admit more Russian young male refugees not out of the kindness of my heart, but due to the fact that they aren't in the Russian military and aren't contributing to the Russian economy.

Iraq was based due to our winning of the conflict, and it turned into a democracy where Yazidi women have representation in the government. Also Iraqi Kurdistan is also based.

As for Failhanistan, yeah it was a failure, and we underestimated the resolve of Pashtu men to fight for the oppression of their women.

I hope this revolution doesn't succeed before the US military can take out large swaths of China's military, and sanction their economy back to the 1800s. Fuck the CPC and their communist supporters.

So in short: massive worldwide war, and mass human death & suffering on a scale not seen since WW2. Truly insane.

No one told me they were shooting an episode of "Who's Outing Themselves as a Psychopath" here today.
That trade you Australians depend on is protected using US hard power. Otherwise, your imported goods would cost 100s of percentages more due to regional naval blockades, tariffs, non-tariff barriers, and stupid pass-through fees plus you would have to pay tribute to the regional powers who would rent-seeking fees on the flow of goods.

There is a reason Australia never had a recession, due to the fact they trade with China and India two rising powers, but this trade is protected by American steel.

Plus I am from the suburbs I once had a republican tell me that we should poison Iran's water supply to counter them. We all love war because we don't have to fight it, granted I have asked the US military multiple times to join, and every time they rejected me since I don't meet their health criteria, and I am too chicken-shit to get sent to the Philippines via US embassy work due to hurricanes.

Plus I am not much of a diplomat, I am more of a fighter.
