Society was always segmented into factions. There was just one on top and everyone had to pretend to act like them or they would lose jobs, have the police sent after them, lynched or have all their property stolen.
I don't believe you think this is a good thing.

I would guess there are a small minority of people who fit this description, but for the most part, this is wrong. The concept of gender that we are discussing has only reached people's vocabulary at all in the last few decades. Nobody had an opinion on the difference between sex and gender because this usage of "gender" didn't exist. The term "gender role" was only coined in the 50s [...]
The term "gender" in that sense dates only to a few decades ago, yes. But as I've pointed out before, the concept of somebody or certain traits/characteristics being masculine or feminine *completely separate from the physical body* is ancient.

Indian hijra and kothi may be physically male, but have been sociologically considered neither male nor female for centuries. Hawaiian mahu are usually of the male physical sex but are not considered socially male, and this again dates back to pre-colonial times. Samoans, other Polynesians, and native Americans also all have social categories that are distinct and separate from male and female, but may apply to people who are physically male or female. These are all things that would today be termed gender identities.

The idea that "gender" being distinct from physical sex is only a few decades old is completely ahistorical. The English term "gender" was just coined a few decades ago... to describe a concept that had been recognised and acknowledged by many cultures for centuries, but had been suppressed by rigid Christendom.

Alternatively, none of those things have more than tangential relation to the modern use of the word "gender". If any of those cultures took those categories as a prescription for castration, you'd vehemently oppose them.

Absolutely untrue. They show that the social understanding of masculine, feminine, neither/both existed separately from physical sex for centuries.

They are what we would today term 'gender identities'.

Where the actual fuck did this come from?

Yes, you stupid peasant. Eat bugs while we the elite fly to Egypt in private jets instead of doing a video conference.

"The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation has urged that we all make more of this “underutilised” resource. And given the issues of food supply sustainability, it may not be a question of choice."

"Barbados is not a pure tax haven, but it is a very low-tax environment for offshore corporations incorporated in Barbados. Taxes on profits of offshore companies are generally in the range of 0% to 5.5%, and the tax rate decreases as the profits earned increase.24

Offshore companies can import the necessary machinery or business equipment without paying any import duty."

Of course, the tax haven wants your money if you live in the west.

Not even remotely. Cultures around the world have had social roles that exist separate from the roles of mothers and fathers, but they are most frequently quite a bit more similar to the idea of celibate priests than any conception of gender that would allow men to be women or vice versa. Like half of those are just non-reproductive vocations.

Even in the pure biological sense, there is lots of gray area to exist between simply male and female, but that's not what "gender identities" means. No example of "third genders" is going to support the conclusion that men can actually be women or vice versa.

You actively defend the chemical castration of minors. You call it reversible.

They are absolutely not just "non-reproductive vocations". They were social roles, very frequently considered explicitly "masculine", "feminine", neither, or both-- but without being bound to the physical sex. Someone could be physically male in every way, but would not be socially considered male, long before the term 'gender' was ever used in this sense in English. This is inarguable fact.

This is sheer insistence that other cultures must have adhered to your pre-existing notion. You're going to have to get your head around the historic fact that in many cultures, male and female were used in reference to characteristics/traits/social roles, divorced from physical sex, for centuries.

You actively defend the chemical castration of minors. You call it reversible.
Ah, you're just falsely equating hormone blockers with "chemical castration", that explains it.

I mean, its grossly insulting to anyone who has experienced either of those vastly different procedures, but it explains it.

Anyone wanna talk about the terrorist attacks this weekend in North Carolina? 'cause it seems to have just been shrugged away. Several power substations were shot up, plunging over 40,000 people into darkness, including elderly while its below freezing, and people on medical support devices all to stop...a dragshow.
And apparently an ex-US army psychological operations officer and Jan 6th protestor is openly bragging she knows who did it, and when questioned by police said "God works in mysterious ways" and...and that seems to be enough for the local police.
And the Feds are now involved.

Along with the whole "I know that what happened hurt a lot of innocent people, but that's the fault of the people I want to victimize, because they continue to exist despite my best efforts" thing.

That's not the same as gender identity. "That is a male trait" does not lead to the conclusion "that woman is actually a man". "Some people fall between men and women" does not lead to the conclusion "that woman is actually a man." You may think the distinction is splitting hairs, but the distinction is both philosophically enormous and in practice does not lead to doctors prescribing genital mutilation.

Straight up, the fact that you're still lying about this is really fucking gross and you should stop.

Lol based, caucuses are undemocratic hogwash. Also, Biden should be the 2024 nominee for the Dems if Fetterman can't get in.

Edit:

Edti2: New Jersey, New York, and Illinois are far more representative of the US than Iowa or South Carolina.

I don't believe you think this is a good thing.
The alternative is either A) that you aren't allowed to have any identity - religious, gender, ethnicity. Eg. Catholicism is banned. As is all other religions. B) all identities are banned except one and everyone has to copy like it was in the 50s.

Again, with a proviso that it doesn't break laws or discriminate

If you want Catholicism, everyone gets their religions. If you want to be male, everyone gets their gender. If you want to claim an ethnicity, everyone gets their lineage

Again, with the proviso that it doesn't break laws or discriminate

No, I don't expect you to understand this. You have clearly shown that it has to be your way only. No one else is allowed choices. But I'm not going to stop you from thinking whatever you want

Again, with the proviso that it doesn't break laws or discriminate

You're not even allowing for the concept of a diverse community.

Identify the lie then.
Like... all of it. Literally everything you have to say on the subject is bullshit. I mean, do you really think you're persuading anybody with these cartoonish arguments? I'm being serious here. You have decided to invent definitions for words in order to maintain that the expansion of civil rights for and the self-expression of sexual minorities is anathema to left-wing ideals you don't even believe in. To what end?

So Vietnam or Iraq. Just insurgence terrorizing communities.
I want to say Northern Ireland, but that's rather optimistic.

Though, I don't think it'll resemble Vietnam or Iraq under US occupation, I expect them to take authority and keep it this time, and if we are lucky we get 40's Spain rather than 30's Germany.

Either the lower classes take the brunt of it (as always), or we move towards socialism. I'm putting my money on the former.
