He got funding from Sony around 2017-2018. With something like that, most would expect the game to be out sooner.8 years though... damn. Glad the guy got some funding for a team, cause it would've taken even longer to get anywhere
Honestly I forgot the game even existed. I'm kind of over the industry thing where they announce a game and then expect me to care when they tease it again 7 years later and maybe will finally release the fucking thing another year after that
Though apparently the new problem is now that games are getting announced too late, and most are launched in a buggy, broken, and unfinished state.
RE2 Remake says hi. Capcom announced that title in 2014. The first trailer didn't hit until E3 2018. I would add DMC5 to the list, but while it was in development since 2015, it didn't get any announcement or news until the E3 of that same year. KH3 was another game announced too early, and the reception of that game was more mixed on the story, characters, and ending, than the gameplay front.If you expect me to care about a game for that long without even being able to play it, you better be a pretty fucking amazing game and unfortunately Final Fantasy 7 already exists so....
