Seriously your take is absolute shit. Omg dem diversity hires is ruining the industry never mind the prospect of a risky merger, a demoralized workforce and your option is to blame the diversity hires like the little rotten reactionary you are

Blessed be KonradLeijon!
Says the guy apparently in an actual cult.

Don't take diversity hire as a term too literally, it's bad for your health. But in this case, here is a paragraph taken directly from Blizzard's job hunting board https://careers.blizzard.com/global/en/job/R020261/Social-Content-Creator

"We love hearing from anyone who is enthusiastic about changing the games industry. Not
sure you meet all qualifications? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members
of other under-represented groups tend to not apply to jobs when they think they may not
meet every qualification, when, in fact, they often do! We are committed to creating a
diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply. "

Sounds like they are hunting for people in a certain demographic over qualifications to me. But hey whatever.

You mention the merger, but that typically isn't stressful on the day to day operations of a company as big as Blizzard, not to mention these are problems Blizzard has been having for almost a DECADE now. Especially in regards to them losing their top tier talents, and what's even worse is that Blizzard hasn't really replaced any of these people with any other proven people within the industry. In fact they haven't really replaced their talent with anyone of note. Which includes the CEO.

Blizzard is a mess for a whole lot of reasons. Primarily there doesn't really seem to be anyone in charge of not only the company itself, but also in charge of these creative teams with the capability of directing the team to a creative vision.

Well for starters, the term “equal opportunity” needs to start with education, and a stable home life for good measure. We all know this country’s socioeconomic standards are slowly but surely turning both of those into a clusterfuck shitshow though, so the end result for workplace fulfillment/equality is as-of-yet little more than a pipe dream fallacy.

Or the return of Killzone, Infamous, Resistance, new Team Ico game, etc
Wow you are really shooting for the stars.

Killzone is dead until they finish the 3rd Horizon game at a minimum.

Team Ico might announce a game, but it wouldn't release until the Ps7 so....

Resistance and Killzone had their Grand finale. I know Killzone 4 happened, but it wasn't that good. I honestly would just take collections at this point of either games. Give me an HD trilogy pack for each franchise and I'm done. Team Ico will put something out way later whenever they feel like it. Infamous is pretty much done. Second Son was all right, but not needed. Sucker Punch will be working on Tsushima 2.

Oh joy I can't wait for them to announce absolutely nothing.

"Hey guys, uh...Nothing say about Overwatch 2 other than buy more expensive skins please."

"We also have some mobile games that you can spend money in."

"Diablo 4 came out....that's cool right."

"What's a Starcraft?"

"Anybody still playing WoW? Can we stop making expansions yet?"

As for Sony showcase, they know that activision/blizzard stuff are probably going to be gone soon, so I wouldn't put it pass them to try a new killzone/resistance to try and fill the COD hole. But my shoot in the dark/won't happen prediction is new/remake legend of dragoon.

Good. Fuck lootboxes to hell and let’s hope they stay there

Interesting. I never imagined Steam would do this. Having recently experienced Jedi Suvivor’s crap launch, i guess this would help people not only experience games before buying, but also to see if they are stable enough
