But they were all of them deceived, for another mmo was greenlit. In the land of Amazon, in the fires of the Fulfillment Center, the Dark Lord Bezos commissioned in secret another mmo, to control all others. And into this mmo he poured his cruelty, his malice, his billions and his will to dominate all entertainment. One mmo to rule them all!

Bad news if you had any hope for Overwatch 2 getting anything exciting. Blizzard can't seem to get it right.

How do things get this bad? When overwatch first came out people were super excited about it and all the character and the lore, there were talk of TV series adaptation and such. Now they can't even make a side project re using asset that already exist and they've apparently been working on for 3 years.

Of course, OW white knights and fanatics will defend this decision to their dying breaths. What a bunch of scum fuckers
And some people try to defend OverWatch 2, saying that there's not much wrong with it or a "good game".

All the good developers at Blizzard had a little problem with harassing the women and stealing the titty milk. So they all left and what remains is a bunch of unqualified diversity hires that clearly don't know what the fuck they're doing. Typical Blizz over correcting for a problem instead of trying to make the correct choice.

Tell Blizzard there is too much blue, they'll take away ALL the blue. Tell Blizz it's not blue enough, fuck it ALL blue!!!!

It's like they don't have any guidance or direction most of the time. Maybe they should stop binge snorting cocaine off hookers in the office and actually do their jobs.

Yeah, I am terribly worried about Diablo 4. I played the beta I thought it was great. But I feel there's a shitstorm coming that no one can avoid...at least those who decides to play it

It's less diversity hires, and more Activision-Blizzard desperately grabbing anyone they can find. I don't care how good those other programmers are or were, that still doesn't change the fact they were assholes who thought it was their God given right sexually harass men and especially women. Including being racists shit heads too! Those at the top let it happen, encouraged it, and enabled it all. They should all be in jail for life. Only some of the lower rung became fall guys, while the rest either fled the country, or tried getting another job. They better not make the same mistakes again. Assuming they got hired. Bobby Kotick is still in charge, and the shareholders/investors are too much of cowardly bitches to let him go. He's brings in "too much money"!

At this point, if it is shit, so be it. One small part of me hates to say it, but at the same time, I really don't give a shit. AB has been riding high for too long without consequence, and with the Microsoft buyout still in limbo, the odds are not looking so good.

Oh hey look, Microsoft wins in the EU -

The EU move will give CMA critics ammunition against the agency, said Alex Haffner, a partner at London law firm Fladgate.

"Critics of the CMA's stance, of which there have been many, will inevitably seize on today’s decision as proving the point made that the UK's regulatory regime is too rigid and stifles innovation," he said.

"Microsoft and Activision’s lawyers will also use the decision to provide greater ballast to their appeal of the CMA's decision."

Watch; little by little they will flounder this gargantuan goose and people will wonder more than ever as to how they ever got as big as they are in the first place.

So I visited the r/Overwatch subreddit and the blizzard overwatch forum, expecting tons of toxicity and blind defense in support of the big decision.

To my suprise, everyone is trashing on the devs right now. Everyone is unanimous in their disappointment and anger of the PvE being cancelled and OW2 now losing the identity. Blizzard forum suprised me the most, because it's usually a toxic wasteland over there. But it looks like everyone is in agreement.

You know, if they hadn't been teasing me with all the shorts, comics, and background lore that kept the world-building, I might've not been as disapointed.

So apparently they tweeted out that PVE is NOT cancelled, they just had to scrap a bunch of stuff and change direction for the PVE. But it sounds like they've cut everything that would have made the PVE interesting.

"Hey guys PVE is not cancelled, we just took out the missions, the talent trees, the progression, the story, but we still have maps with bots you can fight. hurrrdurrrr."

Seriously your take is absolute shit. Omg dem diversity hires is ruining the industry never mind the prospect of a risky merger, a demoralized workforce and your option is to blame the diversity hires like the little rotten reactionary you are

To balance out the mood, an article that praises Actual Sunlight
