The game is going to be 150GB on PS5. Which is crazy because PS5 files sizes are usually smaller thanks to the ability to decompress files instantly. Most cross gen games for example are several Gigs smaller on PS5 than Ps4, Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core is 40GB on the Ps4 but only 21GB on PS5.

So the fact that it's 150GB AND Ps5, jesus fuck nuggets that's a big ass game.

I hope you have an external hard drive ready, because I am not buying one. I do have one for my PS4, but I'm not sure it'll work my PS5 yet. This is kind of why I stick with smaller games or games that are not having multiplayer focused. I know this is not the case for REBIRTH, but Square could have scaled back a bit.

We've been over this. I don't keep shit on my system installed once i finish them. So I have plenty of free space.

I wasn't referring to you. I know by this point. I like keeping stuff that I know I'm going to play and don't want to have to install over again if there's a lot of memory. Like I said before, thank God I don't have much interest in this game. I always free up space every now and then too, but it doesn't happen as often as much as it used to. I might delete Dead Space Remake from the storage space, since I've already done two playthroughs right now.

The final Fantasy 7 mobile game is coming to steam.

While the mobile game isn't bad and can be a lot of fun, you hit a power wall pretty quickly and are forced to grind a ridiculous amount. Not a lot of pay to skip the grind features either otherwise I would have done it. But rather it's just grindy, i think more to keep player progression through the game slow. So as a result i pretty much fell off of the game, because I'd rather go play the real versions.

It's worth checking out to see if you enjoy it and i'd be lying if I didn't say I dont love the alternate costumes on my Tifa.

This drama was so fucking funny to me.
I didn't have much to laugh at, other than some of Max's appropriate reactions. I did learn new things about Sith's name coming from Celtic origins. Otherwise, Twitter can continue to fuck off, and I would not mind it being wiped out from existence.

It is funny that this is a discussion in the first place, and that people are irritated about it.

Still, not sure I like Squeenix's approach. Since 'Cait Sith' is the result of botched localisation, this is a bit like telling all the Anglophone players that Aerith is Aeris in their version.

Plus, it's not just a name, it's literally two actual (non-proper noun) words, one of which is meant to be Cat. So, because "Cat" went through the translation mangler, English speakers-- who call cats cats-- now are officially meant to pronounce cat as "Kate" in this one specific place!? But... the word is still Cat.

They gave us an official pronunciation guide for two words, which they didn't invent and aren't from their own language.

It's like if I made a game with a croissant in it, then made a French localisation, and then had the chutzpah to give the French speakers a pronunciation guide saying "Fun fact! It's pronounced "Kroy-Zunt!"

Cait Sith is an actual thing though. It's a creature in some mythology so the translation ended up making sense, and at the end of the day they had to run with it so here we are. "Kate Sith" is a fine enough name for the remake and people are just dumb because it's the internet so of course they're dumb.

But as I mentioned, the actual thing is not something they created or named, and nor is it in their native language. They provided a pronunciation guide for something in another language and got it wrong.

If an English speaker gives a French speaker a pronunciation guide for their French localisation of a film, and it says croissant is pronounced Kroy-zunt, that's wrong. The English speakers can't invent a new pronunciation for the French people to use with their own word.
