With Tesla facing ever more competition, and having had its charging plug design agreed upon as the US standard, you'd think that Musk would want all hands on deck for expanding his company's Supercharger network to get the brand's name in front of more people.

That would be the case if Elon Musk was a mature, functioning adult. Instead, he fired the entire Supercharger team because he got mad at the department head.

Some people want this guy to get us to Mars....
Well he's "won" now, so he can just take however long he wants to do it. I'm sure that was the logic in his mind when he signed off on firing them all.

Classic autocrat play: teach the peons not to challenge authority otherwise they'll face catastrophic outcomes.

I guess it's better than the old days, when they sent in the Pinkertons / National Guard / etc. to subdue them with a rather more drastic form of firing.

The OP has been deleted - it's useful to provide a summary as well as the link in case of this.

So what's the issue here?
Basically, Musk made it so that Twitter likes are now private and you can't see who liked a tweet. This applies both to the person whose tweet was liked and anyone wanting to see who liked a tweet. The decision has been defended as protecting privacy but it seems Musk only did this so people wouldn't see his NSFW likes.

So, it's like the freedom of town square, except everyone has to wear a blindfold whenever one person compliments another.

Manbaby's lawyer drops lawsuit against OpenAI after realizing the company kept records of what he said.

We all know that this was Musk throwing a snit-fit because OpenAI dared to succeed after he left. He's supposed to come in and take all the credit for success, dammit!

Pay out that 58 billion in quarters and drop them on Musk
The judge's block on the payment was essentially because the Tesla board, which recommended it, did not contain adequate independent views - it was stacked with Musk's dependents and cronies. That should be worrying anyone and everyone involved with Tesla because it's a public company, not Musk's private fiefdom.
