Insult other people and expect them to insult you back. It's not bloody persecution.
But that's how democrats message to people and they wonder why they didn't get votes.

Apparently Trump Administration wants to continue its work on kicking out illegal immigrants. And this time, they are gonna target those with U.S. citizenship as well, mostly for those who gave false information during their naturalization process, or got their citizenship through illegal means.

I got my citizenship back in 2019, and the first major thing I did was to vote for Biden. Now I'm terrified because I might get roped into this mass deportation movement. I was honest in my interview and gave true information, but there is a good chance I might be forced to move back to Korea. And of course the USCIS will apologize for "making you caught in the middle of all this" but won't re-instate my citizenship

... which isn't any better because I pretty much skipped the required military service in Korea. So the first thing that happens when I land there is getting arrested and sent to jail.

Ugh.
You're not gonna get deported.

So first of sure maybe, like I said I've come in here rather late and keeping track of internet feuds is beyond the scope of my time. But also, you have to realize that you're atleast partially to blame too, right? Like, no one had called you out or anything when you went and dropped this,

Not even in response to anyone, you just went and hit 'Send All'.

Especially since trying to claim to someone that "things would have been worse later, this is much better, trust me" while those people seem to be the ones in real danger here feels gross. Doubly so when you nod along with the same notion being brought up here,

By someone who also posted this the same week,

But I've said my piece, and sorry if this has felt like a go at you. It has always come from a place of trying to help, which may have felt condescending so my bad there.

Christ I'm tired...
?????

Have no idea what you're trying to say, why you quoted those two posts of mine, where the hypocrisy is supposed to be.

Promoting transgenderism is not only evil, but fringe. Dumb of the Dems to focus so much on it. Of course, they have to virtue signal on cultural issues because they don't wanna have a serious discussion about economics, don't wanna stop that sweet gravy train. To have a child undergo something so drastic because they're acting feminine, based on such dubious information... If they really cared about kids, they would focus more on how poverty, education and car infrastructure (lack of autonomy) affect them, the far bigger issues.

Try living with them (though once again, I am truly sorry, this shit is straight all bad no good)
Oh I know, I left them because they were toxic for other reasons. I visit on occasion, and hate it every time.

OK, but see, which one is most likely, that the entire DNC conspired to jam up this paperwork, that they paid off the clerk or whomever was in charge of this to do so, or (honestly most likely) that an overworked government employee in an understaffed department simply did what government in general is wont to do and took to long to notice the mistake and unfortunately just happened to be for something that would hit the news this time?
Clearly it was a plot by the Shadow Patriots from the start. I don't even think payments have to be involved, the clerk just has to think letting the Greens staying on the ballot would be bad. We've seen clerks do dumb things like that before.

Because again, as a fellow believer in civic power, I wouldn't want you to. You should have a party that represents you and the power to change it should it fail to meet those ideals, hell even conservatives too (provided they don't use the power to do stupid shit), and what I wouldn't give to get some ranked voting and parliamentary style 12 different parties in office and such, it's just that it would be remiss of me not to point out the folly in trying to blame the entirety of the Green Party performance up to now on some huge orchestrated effort to keep them out of power, both in its uselessness to help the party grow and in its gross parallel to what the right keeps saying is happening to them. Like I said, I voted for Stein back in '16, and I'd be happy to vote Green again at some point when it all isn't so fraught (as bad as that does sound).
And I didn't blame everything on the dems, not even once. They are the biggest obstacle, certainly, by a wide margin. But I've been upfront that Greens have issues separate of that.

Hold up, wait a minute. Nah fam, nobody subjects a child to anything. If you talk to trans people, therapy is years of being asked if you're really sure you're trans. Defending trans people costs nothing and is morally good. It was disheartening seeing the dems start to abandon trans people late in the campaign.

You do realize that the party that doesn't want to abuse its power to torment trans kids for the lulz is also the party that of the two of them at least has the pretense of wanting to do something about poverty and in some cases such as school lunches even manages to do so for kids. And that the party that is eager to use its power to torment trans kids for the lulz is the one that's most comfortable with letting the effects of poverty run its course.

Yes, I gave my opinion on what the results of the election would be in the 2024 Presidential Election Thread. I apologize if I made anyone in here feel uncomfortable or denigrated or attacked or felt that I was acting aggressive towards them when I gave my thoughts on the election results (also, multiple people in this thread used The Trolley Problem to justify voting for Harris to me, something you'd have known if you either followed the thread or read back instead of jumping in to chastise me).

But you have all shown me the light. I will never again question Dear Leader again. The Democrats did not fail us, we The Voters failed The Democrats. I look forward to 2028 when The Democrats do the same thing again except this time I'm sure it'll work now that I am no longer Third Party.

What a martyr.

"I can denigrate you, but you can't respond". That's all this is.
Biden should step down to let Harris have the Presidency. She deserves it for running such a great campaign. It's only fair she gets something out of this after we voters failed her.

Dis you?

I'm disappointed that so many were willing to reject The Democrats and their right wing politics and genocide but couldn't bother to do the little extra work of going to the polls to try to get a third party to 5%.
Disappointed in The Unimpeachable Voters for failing to make the objectively correct voting decision! I thought we couldn't express dissatisfaction with their choice! She deserved those votes :(

I already said I saw the light. I will never question Dear Leader again. It is clear that The Democrats need to doub...no...TRIPLE down on the Right Wing shit and maybe see if we can start a second genocide. Clearly the problem here was The Voters, not Harris. Therefore we need MORE Harris!!!

You subject the child by convincing them the bullshit is true by repeating it again and again. And bullshit is what it is, so obvious when you look at who is actually transitioning (mostly males), the despair of young men/boys and society.

Boy sees his female classmates surpass the boys academically. (Partly because schools are structured to the way girls learn and teachers favor girls.) The women in his life typically have more attractive professions than the men because of how far ahead of the boys they were in K12 school, how many exclusive college scholarships they have and because women are usually picked over men for the same positions. Because of what filmmakers call toxic masculinity, the men that he watches in movies and TV shows are typically less assertive, more foolish, vile and weaker than their predecessors, while woman are usually portrayed positively. The boy is also isolated. He walks on eggshells all the time, with the opposite sex, again because of the modern hostility towards masculinity. If he does gather the courage to approach a girl and manages to do it in a way that is not considered creepy or repulsive by modern standards, the girl will very likely reject him anyway. A forty year concentration of wealth has made her, like most, gravitate towards the few men still able to succeed. Boy doesn't have the looks to make up for that, isn't in the top percentile of men. He tries to build charisma, but has grown up on technology. It has both made him worse at socializing and made the girl less receptive. She comes off as cold, perhaps unintentionally, because she is using her phone or because her mind is elsewhere: in the digital. Car-obsessive city planning, the death of walkable cities after the 1950s, doesn't give him many opportunities to encounter women. His life after high school is mostly the lone commute (in a car) and the destination, where he sees the same few people all the time. When so many young people are not having sex that it's called alarming and concerning, it's no longer just on the individual, it's systemic.

Boy has no pride, no male role models, no prospects, feels isolated, has been shamed little by little over the course of his life. Depression inevitably festers. He sees women own the dating market at age 20, sees how much better women are treated and portrayed. Becomes convinced that he was born in the wrong body, because no one was ever there to help him make sense of his life. Those who might have explained kept their mouths shut for fear of being alienated by their friends, family, colleagues. The voices around him were almost exclusively pro-trans.

Makes sense that men are four times more likely to commit suicide than women and that men transition three to four times as often as women. They have to bottle up their feelings and can't be as emotional. Men's feelings don't matter. The worst thing about people spreading this harebrained theory of being born into the wrong body is that children believe it after hearing it enough, eventually leading to destructive hormone therapy and self-mutilation. This is why the right calls them groomers, which they can't grasp for some reason. The reason it's scientific consensus is because the researchers who wanted to prove it got grants by a medical industry that wants to sell drugs and surgery. Nobody will give a grant to someone researching if gender dysphoria is a sham. It would make the company look bigoted.

An eighteen year old boy died in April 2023 from complications within 24 hours of his vaginoplasty. They used a part of his colon. I thought those doctors were uniquely moronic to use his colon, but it's common practice when puberty blockers prevent the penis from developing enough to craft an artificial vagina. Trans proponents won't talk about tragedies like that, nor be honest about what these procedures actually entail. They silently accept it as the cost of inclusivity. Some will tell you that it's fine to give children hormone blockers because it can be stopped if the child changes their mind. No, the damage is permanent. For Pete's sake, we're talking up to sterilization.

I won't attack trans people. I won't be mean to them when I see them or need to interact with them. They are victims of a gynocentric oligarchy. But the advocates deserve scorn. They refuse to acknowledge that boys are so much unhappier than girls (proven by the suicide numbers) and can't think about the factors because they don't wanna be associated with "them." With incels, Nazis or whatever they wanna call us. It's all political for them, at the expense of children.

Still don't know why he quoted me.

There's almost certainly more I could do but I only have so much time, energy, and money unfortunately.
I respect that.

I made a mistake. It's a story that resurfaced last year about the death of a Dutch eighteen-year-old in 2016.

These surgeries are gruesome and giving children puberty blockers is destructive. The medical industry is financially incentivized to prescribe these procedures and drugs.

Pretend you're on the right side as you champion the sterilization of children.

Yeah, once again I am sorry for that. I did see when the trolley got rolled into here (see previous point on said trolley), as I am a hard-core lurker and didn't want to get involved in the shitshow personally. That bit was mostly aimed at my lack of knowledge on why everyone seems keenly eager to grab the throwing axes (like @Trunkage ), as that seems to stem from shit years ago. My wading into this mess was more about trying to explain why you keep getting so much flak from everyone else (EDIT: From my perspective on the outside looking in), but I'll be the first to admit that I did a bad job, and especially feel bad if my personal thoughts on the matter were used to attack you further or that my own thoughts take so long to get down that they usually come in the middle of half a dozen other comments.

But man, even you have got to admit that this shit right here,

Is funny as hell. Been laughing my ass off over here ever since it got posted, Holy shit. Because man, Zeke, you couldn't have been farther from the mark. In fact, no where in that post where I mentioned you even has the word 'hypocrisy' physically in it, much less as why I brought up that post, for either you or even tippy, far from it actually. I brought it up as a sort of example both to my earlier point of "the types of voters we should seek" and the aforementioned thesis on why tippy keeps getting strays. Because while this post here in this thread was 'liked' by our forums hard left (? Don't know what else to call you three, feel free to correct me) contingent of tippy, @crimson5pheonix , and @Seanchaidh , it also scored a couple from the usual suspects from the right, chiefly @Phoenixmgs . So my bringing up your thoughts from the other thread (the Video Game Hot Takes thread of all places too, because lol), was not even any sort of hypocrisy angle and entirely a "there's some weird bedfellows amongst the 'thank goodness the Dems lost' crowd" that I wanted to illustrate right here on these forums.

I fully expected to catch a bit of "why would you go and drudge something like that up, why do you need to smear me, etc" (see above, I'm a long time lurker and even if I don't post I'm usually scrolling through these whole forums while bored) to attack you. I did not expect you to sit there and double and then triple down, like you're Mac taking the stand
1731354932325.jpeg
No prompting, hell, I didn't even say anything really about you in the post I brought you up in, I just went and pointed "this was also posted here on these forums" and you just went off. Fucking hell, you should have stopped that first post at your "...dumb to focus on." bit before editing in the rest of the nonsense, let alone a whole nother post doubling down.

I've literally never voted for a republican (unless in a race where a republican was running unopposed, which I doubt has happened in Cook (IL) and Lake (IN) counties). I just don't put up with bullshit no matter what side is doing the bullshit. The left recently has gone kinda crazy, they are pro censorship, or look at all those policies that have made things worse in like California or Oregon and several major cities. Did you see how the votes turned out in California, people are voting against this shit and don't want it like Kamala's "Safe Neighborhoods and Schools" Act that made neighborhoods far less safe (and people basically repealed that this election). To act like life is obviously and objectively better under democrat rule/policy is massive hubris (and that's what most of this message board is comprised of).

Just a couple weeks ago when playing DnD it got asked what country (based on policies) would you like to live in and one of my hardcore lefty/hardcore Trump hater friends and I both said Sweden at the same time. I agree with many of the progressive ideals but the democrats aren't leading us to any of them so why would I vote for them?
