I suppose I'm supposed to believe that you read the full interview before forming an opinion and concluded that the particular words Time chose to single out were a complete and appropriate summation of what he was saying.
I saw the post here first, and then-- as I usually do if that's my first exposure to something-- i sought out the original context to check it. And lo and behold, Trump did indeed shift his tone quite significantly.

That's not the difference. The difference is on you trying just so hard to defend whomever I disagree with. Get this through your head: if the roles here were reversed, this conversation would have ended already. If it was the Daily Wire instead of Time calling out Biden instead of Trump, and I posted it in here only to have you tell me that they cut Biden's quote one sentence short of his point to make him look bad, I would thank you for telling me.
This is self-absorption. I don't think or care about you that much.

If it were Biden, most people here-- myself included-- would be rolling our eyes at his hypocrisy and shamelessness. The difference is actually quite visible, because people here frequently do condemn Biden for similar shifts.

I do not respect liars.

Kim Hyung Tae, the CEO of Shift Up, made a Twitter post displaying a picture of him with Neil Druckmann, sworn enemy of the anti-woke crowd, thanking him for being so welcoming and expressing praise Naughty Dog's upcoming game, Intergalactic.

Naturally, the anti-woke crowd had a mature response to this.

Yes, threaten the game company that makes the games you want. Destroy them with what? Ya'll ain't shit?

As for Druckmann, glad to see he finally did some growing.

...cool. So it shouldn't take much imagination to apply it to regular capital gains!

Indeed it does. A process that most countries without M4A have no need for.... so if the US negotiator didn't need that either ....
You haven't really put forth any argument for why unrealized gains should be taxed outside of the fact you want those people to be taxed more.

Thus, my point about the government not actually needing more money is valid. And you can't do M4A if over half your GDP goes towards healthcare, you have to lower the cost of it for M4A to be viable solution.

The American public themselves are a funny event in anti woke world. They gleefully and against all warnings elect an openly corrupt businessman in bed with the world richest man so they can make a government by and for corrupt billionaires. But then when a CEO gets shot the public goes ''B-but we hate CEO's! Just don't look at who we just elected!''

Be a bit more consistent guys. Either you hate corrupt rich guys or you don't.

But he told them he's not like that, he's not part of the elite. Golden toilets aside.

Whether you think the solution is nationalizing health care and trusting the government to fix it or deregulating healthcare and trusting the market to fix it, nobody likes the current system. As demonstrated by the response to the CEO of one of the worst health insurance companies being shot in the street.
