Hitler only did a holocaust out of mercy cos he couldn't feed all his political prisoners
That's a very generous way of saying that he couldn't continue to feed all the people he forced into concentration work camps, and so began executing them to reduce the supply burden of running the camps.

That's like saying he started shoving them in works camps out of mercy when he could have been just murdering them up front. I mean sure, work camps are better than being killed, and being gassed is a less horrible way to die than starving, but by the time you get to where you're asking those questions you're already so far past the moral event horizon that it's not in your light cone.

Let me summarise our argument here for everyone's edification, in analogy form just to ram the point home.

Phoenixmgs: Wearing safety harnesses is stupid. According to this dodgy statistical argument, no-one dies by falling.
Agema: Wearing safety harnesses might be a reasonable precaution for people who are doing things at a height like mountaineering, working on telegraph poles, etc.
Phoenixmgs: NO, WEARING SAFETY HARNESSES IS STUPID, SCIENCE PROVES IT.
Agema: I don't think you quite get the point here
Phoenixmgs: YOU CAN'T EVEN ADMIT WEARING SAFETY HARNESSES IS STUPID.
Agema sighs and presses ignore button.
There's not even a single reported/confirmed instance of covid spreading outside... You're defending kids wearing masks outside when playing sports and you can't even admit the stupidity of that.

Myocarditis is more common from the onset of puberty until the early thirties, and more common in men than women. Meaning young men are likely to be higher on that baseline.

Yes, I'm aware of what we're trying to compare.

You were attempting to calculate the rate of hospitalisations from covid within this age group. To do this, you relied entirely on two stats that were unrelated to covid. It should be self-evident why this is inadequate.

All of this is largely irrelevant, though. Because whether we use my numbers or yours, the result is still that the risk of heart problems from covid (incl. for young men) is higher than the risk of myocarditis from the vaccine.
You also realize that the leading cause of myocarditis is viral infections, right? That's essentially what a vaccine does, it's an infection.

The amount of hospitalizations FROM COVID for people under 18 is unrelated to COVID?

It's not. It is literal scientific consensus as like every country stopped recommending vaccines/boosters for young men.

Here's a study about how people on the fringe believe they are actually in the center

Anyway, I KNOW facts will just make them more conspiritorial. Like, I'm about to bring up a fact in the next post and they will just pretend its not true.

I HAVE had success elsewhere with pointing out that the remedies conspiracy theorist suggest for covid are created by the same companies, audited by the same agencies and have nasty side effects. The advocates are paid shills for the company. You cant be anti-vax and pro-these remedies because you are just doing what Big Pharma wants and they used your conspiracy theory to earn money off you. The people Phoenixmgs are paid shills of Big Pharma

.... that being said, it hasnt worked witn Phoenixmgs
What are you even going on about? And why did you link to an ad Youtube video?

Remember when it was a conspiracy theory about lab leak and we were told it's somehow racist to think that? Then, literally every government agency has concluded lab leak is the most probable explanation. Saying those that had covid already don't need a vaccine isn't a conspiracy theory, saying you don't need a mask outside (or inside) isn't a conspiracy theory, saying the vaccine doesn't provide community benefit isn't a conspiracy theory, etc.

Also, a lot of issues are like 80/20 and I'm in the 80% on pretty much all the issues. You guys are mainly on the 20% side and then yell at everyone else proclaiming how right you are. And the 80% is somehow the fringe and the 20% is the middle in your world?

If you had a shred of credibility left, this would explode it spectacularly.

The amount of hospitalizations FROM COVID for people under 18 is unrelated to COVID?
You explicitly said you were counting all hospitalisations, that they might not be from covid, and said "i'll ignore that".

It's not. It is literal scientific consensus as like every country stopped recommending vaccines/boosters for young men.
You gave your own numbers. You even did your own maths with them. And the risk remained magnitudes greater than 0.0005% even with your shoddy include-everything numbers.

22 federal contracts for mRNA research totalling almost $500m to be halted;

mRNA vaccines were of course essential in combating COVID-19 and bird flu.

And the harmless preservative thimerosol to be banned from all vaccines;

Republicans continue to destroy the meaning of America.
I guarantee that was removed by a Democrat in protest. That website is specifically the Library of Congress website, whose head librarian was dismissed and a new Trumpier one appointed a couple months ago. What sounds more likely: that one guy personally demanded the removal of specifically the page explaining that Congress can't grant titles of nobility, or a angsty left-wing employee decided that "Trump is declaring himself king, so I guess I'll take that page down now, so everyone knows we've degraded to monarchy".

You can say that, but even if so it highlights the way that the administration has deleted all sorts of information, websites, resources, shut down research, etc. on politically non-approved topics. It's just so believable that Trump and team might do something like that.

I wouldn't expect anything west from these bitches.

I would assume the whole thing is more about the habeas corpus part that the Trump administration regularly flaunts and less about the nobility thing.
It's still wrong to do either way and unacceptable. Fuck them.

They literally want everyone to die. I bet until something happens to them, they'll put it all back on the map.

Not really. RFK Jr. may have shown a little hypocrisy, but I expect he genuinely cares about wellbeing and health. Its just that he's down a rabbit hole of junk science and conspiracy bullshit, so he ends up doing things that endanger public health.

We also know that if Trump were to put any thought into it, he'd know mRNA technology is safe and practical: after all, he put a lot of money into precisely that during his first term. It was one of the good things he did. But of course he doesn't care much about wellbeing, so he's also happy to entertain cranks if it earns him attention and money.

I'm still not trusting any of them with anything. They brought this mess on themselves in the first place. So they better fucking deal with it.

Suits us if the USA wishes to abandon exciting new technologies: easier for our countries to make money from them instead.

Suits us less if we end up with their exciting new virus strains.
