Good Settler, Bad Settler
What this week’s flood of Israeli condemnations reveals about the state’s true relationship with the settlers
It is also a matter of note that both Malcolm X and MLK were moving towards each other's respective political/economic positions throughout their careers as they realized they needed a combination of methods and ideas in order to actually deal with racism and inequality in the U.S.I just want to point out that it's generally agreed on by historians that MLK's methods would not have worked without Malcolm X's more extremist methods acting as a counterpoint. Basically, "if we don't agree with Martin Luther King's points and methods, how long until another Malcolm X rises?" sort of deal.
The issue is the Palestinians armed wing is losing, their few allies are losing, and eventually it's my prediction that none of the CRINKs and their allies are going to back them, or will ignore them, or be any number of ineffective at helping them due themselves losing their control of their own state, etc.. They already have an army it's the PA security forces those can slow down a holocaust in the West Bank, but they are poor at Israeli Salami slicing, their radical wings are not relevant since they can't deter Israel from launching more attacks in Gaza, any more than Panama can deter the US(More on this in another thread).I just want to point out that it's generally agreed on by historians that MLK's methods would not have worked without Malcolm X's more extremist methods acting as a counterpoint. You can stop there, assured that whatever historians agree on is complete garbage.I just want to point out that it's generally agreed on by historians...
This is probably valid, honestly, you just forgot to mention he's being shot by Hamas. The Palestinian equivalent of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. not only would be shot and killed, he almost certainly already has been multiple times. Fuck off.
ignorant, innumerate, and/or evilThis is probably valid, honestly, you just forgot to mention he's being shot by Hamas.
Yes, the Palestinians don't have any allies that can stop a US backed genocide. That is why the genocide goes on.The issue is the Palestinians armed wing is losing, their few allies are losing, and eventually it's my prediction that none of the CRINKs and their allies are going to back them, or will ignore them, or be any number of ineffective at helping them due themselves losing their control of their own state, etc.. Have you got something against historians? You can stop there, assured that whatever historians agree on is complete garbage.
Not many good allies. But they need to figure out something fast, and my analysis is that Israel knows the window of opportunity to enjoy support from the US is closing due to younger demographics not liking them. But that is likely the only good news; this is the reality.Yes, the Palestinians don't have any allies that can stop a US backed genocide. That is why the genocide goes on.
That is no kind of new revelation or special insight.

Seems another instance of the right insisting that having knowledge is inherently suspicious and that any random hobo knows just as much as experts. You can stop there, assured that whatever historians agree on is complete garbage.
Rationalized knowledge is suspicious. Conclusions drawn not from observation but from pure intellectual exercise have no more reason to believe than random guesses by a hobo. Nothing is as unobservable as history, you cannot go back, you can only see the records of it, and those are (without unearthing lost records) almost entirely unchanging. Yet academic fields require people to write something new to contribute to their field in order to reach the highest positions, incentivizing people to reason things beyond what is stated in the records, and a sharp mind can reason its way to falsehoods at least as easily as it can ascertain the truth.Seems another instance of the right insisting that having knowledge is inherently suspicious and that any random hobo knows just as much as experts.
