Aw man hey, thanks for the nightmares, so cool to really live in such a motherfucking society.Hopefully excluded from the whole equation due to being a 12-year-old. Also after googling where Lily is from I... am not a better person for it.
Nope, that's not repression, that's a preference.What you're describing is called repression.
It's actually the reason why gay panic is a thing, and why this joke exists.
You've been on the internet, and you're trying to explain traps to me, but you've not heard the phrase "are traps gay?"
The joke/question here is not "are people who self-identify as traps gay", the question is "is it gay to be attracted to 'traps'". The point is to illustrate that the discussion of traps is entirely bound up with "relations between heterosexuals and homosexuals (sic)" because that's the joke isn't it. The joke is based on the implication that if you are attracted to someone with a penis, even if what you're attracted to is their femininity, then that somehow compromises your heterosexuality and that this is humiliating. That is the actual trap, isn't it. The trap is that you might be gay, and thus that you might be percieved and treated as a gay person.
Fuck that neurotic shit.
Nobody does that. People who know what the word "trap" means know that it is distinct from "trans". It doesn't just mean "a trans person who hasn't had bottom surgery yet"if you were to refer to a trans person as a trap because
I asked you for evidence and you didn't produce any. That's what I thought. So now it's not about actually being a man or a woman, but about who passes or who has a penis?
This is incredibly inaccurate.No. If you're proud of your dick enough to show it off, you identify as male.
Okay, so transmen and women don't undergo top and bottom surgery to change their genitals? They don't have gender dysphoria? They're proud of the genitals they currently have and are proud to show them off? They're proud to live as men, despite thinking of themselves as being women? This is incredibly inaccurate.
Some, yeah.Okay, so transmen and women don't undergo top and bottom surgery to change their genitals? They don't have gender dysphoria? They're proud of the genitals they currently have and are proud to show them off? They're proud to live as men, despite thinking of themselves as being women?
Then none of the words "men, women, transmen, transwomen" have any significant meaning and nobody is justified at getting offended at the word "trap" because it has no significant meaning either. Some, yeah.
I agree that gender is largely meaningless. Then none of the words "men, women, transmen, transwomen" have any significant meaning and nobody is justified at getting offended at the word "trap" because it has no significant meaning either.
Both you and Dreiko have literally just done it.Nobody does that.
You are literally providing the evidence.I asked you for evidence and you didn't produce any. That's what I thought.
A lot of trans people get paid to do that.Furthermore, these trap threads disprove your hypothesis, because how many trans people enjoy showing off the genitals that they think "don't fit them", and that they may wish to get rid of with surgery?
No.No. If you're proud of your dick enough to show it off, you identify as male.
I'm confused, what else is the point of posting on a forum?Once again, stay in your lane, don't make yourself look like an idiot by trying to talk about things you don't understand
I'd ask you for evidence that these people are actually trans to begin with, but I know you wouldn't be able to provide any, because you weren't able to provide evidence last time. Both you and Dreiko have literally just done it.
Well, I am soundly defeated by these excellent arguments backed up with zero evidence. I fully concede the point to you and your well-researched arguments. /sNo.
Sorry, that doesn't even require an explanation. Just no.
Of course they do, it's a slur commonly used against transwomen.Nobody does that.
No. Obviously. Unless you've gone and redefined "male" in a weird way. Though, a lot of the existing definitions of the word "male" are pretty bad as it is.No. If you're proud of your dick enough to show it off, you identify as male.
Some transwomen might have surgery to alter their genitals. Some might not, as they aren't a monolithic whole. Obviously.Okay, so transmen and women don't undergo top and bottom surgery to change their genitals? They don't have gender dysphoria? They're proud of the genitals they currently have and are proud to show them off? They're proud to live as men, despite thinking of themselves as being women?
Show me five examples of the word being used in a negative way.Of course they do, it's a slur commonly used against transwomen.
They did? I could swear people were talking about referring to male anime characters who identify as such but dress and appear feminine. Nobody is even bringing real life people in the discussion, never mind real life trans people. Some people in this thread think that one anecdote of a trans person being okay with the word "trap" makes it acceptable to refer to all trans people that way. And without exception, these people have demonstrated a willing ignorance to justify being shitty and bigoted to trans people. Motherfuckers are gonna fuck mothers.
***** is commonly used as a slur against women but you don't hear people in the specialist dog competition scene trying to get the word banned from use in it's correct original context that refers to the female dogs, despite the thousands of popular rap songs that call women bitches and what have you.Of course they do, it's a slur commonly used against transwomen.
That is adorably naive on your part.If people found it uacceptable they'd just agree to stop saying it by themselves. They wouldn't abandon their subreddit and make their own over it.
Hey man I'm not the one who thinks everyone is soft enough to mind this one misapplied rude word. I think people have seen worse and the naive thing is to think this is worth complaining over in the context of the world around us.That is adorably naive on your part.
