Forget it, apparently examining these statements in light of Biden's own stated primary positions and past record, and finding them to be completely consistent is "speculation" and "gossip". I was the one that authored that thread, and I was the one that included those links in the first post of it. Apparently we're expected to be tabulae rasae throughout the entire election and Biden's potential term, continually memory holing whatever position Biden or any Democratic official may have taken in the past, no matter how strongly taken, repeated, or for how long that position was maintained. And by no measure are we to compare current positions with past positions, or even contradictions between current positions as told to different people, and conclude due to their own self-contradictory nature one or more of them must be untrue.
But we're supposed to vote for him now and hold him accountable later, but not as long as it's through any vehicle for protest that may actually lead to real consequences that pressure public officials to act.
