Given how much of my library is digital nowadays, I'd probably go with the digital only anyhow, unless they do the same dumb**** MKicrosoft did and also give the digital only one a smaller storage drive (Because that makes logical sense of course), which they haven't actually included the storage in their specs even on the officla Playstation sources.
But yeah, the last remaining vestiges of disks I have are Monster Hunter (which is basically just obsolete now because the disk doesn't have the 18 odd content updates or Iceborne, and my review copy of No Mans Sky (for much the same reason, the disk is largely obsolete, as there's been 4 expansions and like 20 DLC packs on that at this point, it's like 1/10th of the game package. I think we already hit this gen where the games were bigger then the disks anyways for your big shiny Rockstars and et al. So its literally just a fancy box for a download key.
For all the F*** AAA attitude, I dunno why people are even concerned about the disks, most of the non-AAA stuff doesn't even get disk releases now (or gets them way later based on cult following from a digital release).
Price point, I mean, Canada didn't even get included, insofar as I know we were already at the corresponding price points best I can tell (again, I'm heavily in the AA space a lot of the time)..
Nothing super-jumps out for the launch lineup. Godfall wasn't in the event and thats probably the best looking of it, and thats even a "Wait and see" approach. Deathloop maybe, but I don't have full confidence in Arkane moving even moreso into shooting (nor has Arkane's post-Dishonored output been outsanding for me, with Prey being a solid meh, and there other involvement in the horrid mess that was Wolfenstein : Youngblood). Destruction whatever seems like a good candidate for the early PSPlus freebie anyhow. Maybe Final Fantasy will get out of its nonsensical rut with the director change, but thats also an even more definitive wait and see. And Spider MAn which is a solid discount option is gonna be on PS4 anyways.
