Again you are talking about fringe lunatics here. I have yet to still hear the 'moderate left' condemn Antifa.
Fringe lunatics that have carried out more attacks on US soil than any other threat? That are the single biggest current threat in the US according to US intelligence? Infiltrated US military, police, immigration, and other vital US services?

Just to name a few, this really can go on all day.

It's quite hilarious how people keep complaining about the Left when the Right do it all the time.
Both the left and right do it, and I despise both. To quote Amartya Sen, "Identity kills, and kills with abandon".

Identity politics isn't even a strictly left-right thing. India's got its own version of Hindu identity politics, and identity politics worked so well with Lebanon that we had a nice explosion in Beiruit to celebrate its 'success.' Unfortunately, it feeds off itself.

Oh and apparently Trump got covid now. Let see what are the risk factor, age and weight... Oh... I really hope this doesn't make things more complicated than they have to be.

He has the best treatments from all over the world that money can buy and he is under 24/hr personalized care they attend to his symptoms at a seconds notice that no one else has access to so he will regretfully most likely be fine.

Hopefully the people who are taking care of him will do their job poorly on purpose.

Literal Global Pandemic
The trillions were piling up already because of the GOP tax cut, that was supposed to pay for itself but didn't but who fucking cares? Grandkids can't vote yet and I'm sure we'll be magically reminded of how much debt we're in the moment a Democrat becomes president.

And yes, there's a literal pandemic, that Trump has done little to nothing to contain or try to deal with. Rather try to undermine public safety measures like mask wearing, downplay the severity of the virus, encouraging militia fuckers to storm their local statehouses to end lockdowns, screwing states out of PPE, disbanding the pandemic task force, etc. You know, why the US has one of the highest covid death counts on the fucking planet. This isn't a coincidence, this is a gross failure of leadership on his part. Part of his job is to help coordinate interstate efforts, not have packed fucking rallies/superspreader events in the middle of a pandemic because it make him feel good.

Apparently there’s rumors that due to COVID concerns some Republican senators want to put the Senate in recess thereby delaying the ACB hearings. Today COVID is trying to solve all the problems we were too cowardly to deal with.

I do hope this causes congress to just do the stimulus package, but that is wishful thinking. The people have been waiting on months for another check and more unemployment.

The House has, again, passed a new stimulus package. Senate Republicans will likely not even let it come up for a vote though, again.

It may surprise you, but most working in healthcare in the US do not actually receive employer provided insurance, as it is still ridiculously expensive for the small group plans for individual clinics and private practice offices, so they don't even offer it.
It would, but only because I have several family who work in healthcare, although the majority of medical offices here are tied to one or another hospital and the hospitals offer excellent insurance. Even if my wife's GP regrets getting in bed with one of said hospitals instead of remaining private. Apparently the money was good but the hassles weren't worth it.

Working in medicine myself, I know all about the manufacturer coupons, I use it WITH my insurance or it would still be too expensive.
Figured you would, but also figured it was worth bringing up to whoever else might read this specifically because they aren't super common knowledge if you don't deal with pharmacy much on the business end. I just renewed my two year discount cards on my 2 meds, which brings my copays from $50 each to $25 and $5.

I wouldn't go so far as to say critical race theory denies non-systemic problems, but it factually ignores them.
Because non-systemic problems have clear answers to silly questions like "exactly who or what policy is being racist here, and in what fashion" rather than just yelling "systemic" and claiming that the end results not being equally distributed among all demographics is explicit proof of oppression.

because they subscribe to an ideology that doesn't believe you can be evil without power.
"Power" should probably be in quotes, because they also tend to define power in terms of demographic groups, with especial emphasis on race and gender over class. So for example a poor homeless white man has "power" (and is thus capable of evil) in a way an upper class black woman doesn't.

Seems like an attempt to conflate the two things to use as a shield to me really.
Literally the premise of Clinton's "basket of deplorables." The whole point is to take anything that offends them, throw them together and then claim all of them are the same as the worst of them. Though the Proud Boys aren't hard to conflate in this case, it's like comparing two varieties of apple rather than apples and oranges.

They 100% support punching Nazis, but so did allied troops...
The difference is in how you define "Nazis", and most "Nazis" who violence against is being defended now wouldn't be "Nazis" under any definition that allied troops would have recognized. It's not hard to find examples of people being physically attacked for wearing a red hat (which makes you a Nazi) for example. Or those two off duty Marines who got jumped by a group and beaten after being asked "Are you proud?" and not being quite sure what the group was asking. Turns out that there was supposed to be a Proud Boys event in the area, and they were out hunting Proud Boys. But two slightly confused off duty Marines are definitely Nazis because they were "The Few, The Proud."

Apparently there’s rumors that due to COVID concerns some Republican senators want to put the Senate in recess thereby delaying the ACB hearings. Today COVID is trying to solve all the problems we were too cowardly to deal with.
If Senate is in actual recess then Trump can appoint whoever without delay and they can serve until Senate comes out of recess. Senate doesn't usually recess at all - they do a fake "recess" where they have one Senator show up, who is officially handed the power to lead the Senate temporarily and then adjourns it for 3 days. So long as no official count of Senators is ever actually done the fact that there's no quorum can be quietly ignored. Called a pro-forma session, basically it's the minimum amount of Senate activity required for the Senate to not technically be on recess, often used specifically to prevent recess appointments from being used.

IOW, if Senate goes on recess, Trump can appoint whoever to SCOTUS and they go straight into office until Senate comes back in session, allowing the GOP led Senate to prevent the Dems from even attempting to fight or delay the appointment until after the election.

It isn't an assumption, how about what they have said about Muslims and immigrants as well? They are just all around bigots.

Synonyms for chauvinist:
jingoistic

chauvinistic
excessively patriotic
excessively nationalistic
sectarian
isolationist
flag-waving
xenophobic
racist
racialist
ethnocentric
partisan
partial
prejudiced
biased
discriminating
discriminatory
intolerant
bigoted
sexist
male chauvinist
misogynist
woman-hating
anti-feminist
male supremacist

Oh wait they are synonyms for a reason.
1) I'm sure there's some Muslim holocaust deniers out there too

2) mostly because said term is used as an insult

You didn't answer the question at all.
yes I did, I just didn't give the answer you wanted.

How many people have Antifa Killed in the last decade in the US? How many people have right wing extremists killed in the last decade? Oh yea.
Well as AntiFA isn't a group but an ideology.

In the last 12 months

14

~7 if you remove AntiFa killing their own supporters and members in weird incidents that have gone on.

~18 if you include self inflicted harm or people killed by "Mischief" or as a result of their own actions. E.G. trying to rob gun stores or trying to blow up ATMs and blowing themselves up.

Though in the last decade I'd estimate 100+ attempted murder cases (This would include things like assault with what was deemed a deadly weapon)

I do hope this causes congress to just do the stimulus package, but that is wishful thinking. The people have been waiting on months for another check and more unemployment.
Didn't Trump executive order it to send checks out again? I mean he's being sued over it so he did something there.

Also don't democrats have the senate majority so you'd think they'd have no issue clearing the package to go through.......

Why do you continue to make statements when you clearly have zero clue about the topic?

1. Trump loves to sign executive orders that are symbolic at best. No checks have been sent out besides the first round months ago.

2. Democrats do not have a senate majority. Republicans do.

3. Democrats have a House majority. They have passed multiple aid packages for Republicans to not even put them to a vote in the senate.

The political effect is currently unclear. Voting is already underway in parts of the country and that will start to balloon as more and more states start their early voting and mail voting systems. I suspect the effect will be relatively small if at all (not that there will be a real means of measuring it) as Trump is an extremely polarizing figure and few people are likely to change their minds on whether or not to vote for him over him catching an illness.

Senator Lee (R-UT) tested positive today and was in close proximity to her earlier. Barrett herself tested positive during the summer. Given Murkowski and Collins both are refusing to vote for a nominee, that would leave only 51 votes if Lee becomes too sick to vote or needs to step down from office, assuming every other Republican senator is on board with this nomination process (not a given).

Speculation: the Rose garden ceremony where she was presented as the nominee has many of the individuals who tested positive. It is possible that may have been a spreader event.
