I have no idea what " film" they had the boys watch while they took all of the girls to be educated about our period. I was 8 and they took all the girls from my class into the choir room and talked about us " becoming a woman" and had a diagram of female reproductive organs. Then they showed us a film that was very" technical" that talked about STD's and had the barely able to make out what it was disembodied illustrated "penis" enter the vagina and then went into technical detail on what happened with Sperm ect.. Except they pretty much treated the sperm like alien invaders that was coming to attack our eggs and give us STD's and babies so we should avoid it at all costs because our lives depended on it. It went into great detail about what can happen if a girl has sex too young and becomes pregnant and the damage it does to our bodies and essentially made it very clear to us that we would suffer and possibly die if we became pregnant too young and that Sperm was EVIL and trying to kill us so to keep penises away from us at all costs. Then they had us watch another graphic film about labor and childbirth and then about how difficult it is to raise babies with teenage moms recounting their horror stories. They also had families of mothers who died during childbirth recount their stories about losing their daughters. They actually took us to a pen and made us watch a horse give birth I think when I was 12 while talking about how painful the whole thing is. It wasn't until I was a sophomore in High school that they actually talked about birth control and put condoms on a banana and made us take care of " fake babies" that never stopped crying.
Luckily, I had already learned about actual sex from my family or I wouldn't have had a clue what to do the first time. XD
