I have no idea what " film" they had the boys watch while they took all of the girls to be educated about our period. I was 8 and they took all the girls from my class into the choir room and talked about us " becoming a woman" and had a diagram of female reproductive organs. Then they showed us a film that was very" technical" that talked about STD's and had the barely able to make out what it was disembodied illustrated "penis" enter the vagina and then went into technical detail on what happened with Sperm ect.. Except they pretty much treated the sperm like alien invaders that was coming to attack our eggs and give us STD's and babies so we should avoid it at all costs because our lives depended on it. It went into great detail about what can happen if a girl has sex too young and becomes pregnant and the damage it does to our bodies and essentially made it very clear to us that we would suffer and possibly die if we became pregnant too young and that Sperm was EVIL and trying to kill us so to keep penises away from us at all costs. Then they had us watch another graphic film about labor and childbirth and then about how difficult it is to raise babies with teenage moms recounting their horror stories. They also had families of mothers who died during childbirth recount their stories about losing their daughters. They actually took us to a pen and made us watch a horse give birth I think when I was 12 while talking about how painful the whole thing is. It wasn't until I was a sophomore in High school that they actually talked about birth control and put condoms on a banana and made us take care of " fake babies" that never stopped crying.

Luckily, I had already learned about actual sex from my family or I wouldn't have had a clue what to do the first time. XD

Reminds me of this a little bit:

The trailer looks fine. The Netflix poster is shit but that's about it.

Can't speak for any guys anywhere else, but for me as a kid, we never got that class. I think the closest was when I was in 8th grade (so roughly 13-14 years old or so), our Home Ec class made us watch a video by some god botherer, who was talking to another class about not having sex, because it would make god sad, and we would be acting like animals, not the glorious chosen children of our savior blah blah blah. Basically tried to scare abstinance into us via guilt and eternal punishment. And this wasn't even a private religious school, which I had attended the 2 years prior to 8th grade.

Jokes on them though, because I could fucking read, and did this crazy thing called "look it the fuck up" in an encyclopedia in like....3rd grade? Got nice little diagrams and a clinical explanation of the basics, so I was at least like "oh, ok that's what that term means."

I am sure it likely would have been like that if I had still been forced to attend that religious school they had us in when I was little. Hell they stopped even doing what they did for me in public school here by the time my little sister got that far due to the local churches pastor went to jail for fraud so they shut down their christian school here and the church pretty much took over the school board. After that they started some " promise ring" BS and they didn't even get to see a poorly drawn disembodied penis anymore. LOL

Speaking of which.. As girl, guys have to know how strange it is to us the first time a girl sees a penis. I think I was 3 or 4 and I remember the first time I saw one I pretty much fell on the ground in giggle fits. And yes, I do recall asking boys in school if they really had one of those and then having more giggle fits.

I'm gonna be up front here, they're kind of weird to own too. They basically have a constantly running service process we can't restart or disable, we get stupid paranoid about how big they are, we subtly design many things to resemble them and they're a constant vector for abuse and injury. I mean I get it; tab and slot design is simple and elegant and considering the really wacky shit the animal kingdom has experimented with in the Department of Dongs, we should probably be grateful ours is just weird enough to make jokes about but won't terrify anyone.

Rather than making a new thread I'll bring this one back with news Netflix is being indicted on charges of

promoting material in Cuties film which depicts lewd exhibition of pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 yrs of age which appeals to the prurient interest in sex

Shouldn't the director of the film and other folks who worked on it should also be facing this indictment?

Even if we go full balloonhead and claim "it's live pedo bait, just look at it!", the film's artistic merit is proven rather easily.

So it's now classified as actual child pornography? I didn't see it, but from what I gathered, the point of the movie was supposed to show the dangers that young girls face when getting mixed messages of empowerment and sexuality. But the movie is too gratuitous? Is that right?

Preemptively classified by a grand jury in one Texas county.
This will likely not end up going anywhere.

Movies that tackle subjects like tend to run headlong into these problems. War movies are the same. Even the grittiest examples: Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down as two examples do tread heavily on war is hell but in order to keep the audience engaged manage to make it look exciting. Same issue here; the subject matter is lurid, bordering on tasteless but you gotta keep the audience engaged so more and more audacious shit goes down to keep the audience gasping and saying “Surely not!”

It’s a very weird place to be for a movie.

It is just the Texas holy rollers doing their thing they do with everything in Texas. I don't think it is classified as such yet, they just filed a case, the case hasn't been ruled on yet I don't think.

Texas has arrested people for Cartoons/Anime/Manga/Hentai too..
Dreiko might want to remember that when driving through different states.. XD
