Well considering the plan is more to get goods and other stuff and not food trade deals with the USA mostly it could work out as a good deal if we avoid the food sector mostly.

What " goods"? The US buys everything from China cheap. You sure as hell don't want the cosmetics either as those are as contaminated as much as the food.

Yes, but there were things he did behind the scene. Like having Alex Azar visit Taiwan, form the quad. Invest more in the airforce and the navy although I would have lower the military budget during the pandemic.

Bernie would have atleast been forced to sanction Xi over the Muslim concentration camps, and stop the flow of goods.

Tariffs are only useful for protecting a nascent domestic industry from foreign competition. Tariffs on Chinese goods would have passed the expenses right on down to you. Cutting off your nose to spite someone else's face, in other words.
