I'm pretty sure the 2 issues consistently considered genuine existential threats to the species by scientists are nuclear war and climate change, and the probability of annihilation through either one of them has been massively increased by the Republicans: through endless proliferation, brinkmanship and removing actually functional nuclear limitation treaties, and by shredding environmental protections, respectively.
China literally refuses to draw down its nuclear arms-buildup.

China is also the world's largest emitter.

Also those are world threats, and I argue China is the bigger world threat than all of them combined.

We can build up the infrastructure in the other countries with private FDI, and loans from the IMF, and World Bank, and even if this results in pain in the short term, it's better than letting the new Nazis grow in economic, and thus military might.

Also, you didn't mention India.
We haven't even repaired US failing infrastructure, yet you want to spend money building up other nation's infrastructure instead?

That's not our money, it's a private business and international organizations. There is no 100% tax yet.

Oh shit, is Trump going to pretend to be communist to take down the communist? Is THAT why he gave out $1200 to everyone. That was a clear communist move
"Clear communist move"
Nah that would be paving a road with the bones of your slaves
Who is interested in massive infrastructure rebuilding programs?

OK, but China's nuclear stockpile and emissions haven't been combatted by either party. The difference is that the Republicans have worsened them to a greater degree elsewhere (withdrawal from the JSPOA, ending environmental safeguards).

Also those are world threats, and I argue China is the bigger world threat than all of them combined.
I assume you're talking about the threat of totalitarianism spreading, rather than an actual existential threat to the species.

How do you see that coming about? Militarily, or economically? And how have the Republicans made it less likely?

How often are those the focus of press conferences?

How often are they the focus of the actual messaging?

Again as the article I linked points out it's about designating an enemy.
So, basically, it really does boil down to "Since I don't accept it, it's not valid". It's possible to get messages out with Press conferences. I knew these things by listening to the man. Yes, it's vital that you listen to the man to get what he means.

How about this, if you went and asked others what Biden's stances are. Not even how he's going to accomplish it, but what he believes... and even if it's "I'm going to change the damage Trump has done to this country", will you concede that Biden is getting his statement out?

Or will it be another shift on how it has to be this or he has to do it this way that you find sufficient, but the rest of us find superfluous because we already knew where Biden stood due to simply listening to him?

That was in the primaries, mind you.

Dems aren't trying to win. They're setting themselves up to wrangle Trump after the elections for concessions.

Castro was wrong, though; Biden didn't say that everyone has to buy in. People only have to buy into the public option if they're already covered, and he was consistent on that.

I'm not a fan of Biden's plan, but that was just Castro's error.

What does that say about the Trump campaign, trailing in popularity to a party trying to lose?

I mean... the 2016 result was well within the margin of error for most polls. Relative to any other indicator we have, they've been fairly reliable.

Not to mention the pause that was given by:

-Comey announcing an FBI investigation into Hillary weeks before election day.

-Clinton botching her campaign and ignoring key blue states when Trump rightfully pointed out "Where's Hillary while I'm here?", Minority and Independent voters, and undecided because she was assured she was the better choice than Trump and everyone saw that.

-Bernie or Bust. And I'm saying that as a Bernie voter. I still voted for Hillary.

-Citizens who believed voting to be a waste of time because of shenanigans on both sides (as Democratic states "lost" counties that were polling for Bernie).

This is the problem with America. Republicans come in, do some mess. We get all distraught. Democrat comes in, mends some things, and we start getting comfortable again. Republican comes in, says "We're doing great, but we can be doing better with you in charge!". Republican gets voted in, horrible things happen, Democrats get voted in to right it again. Rinse, repeat.

This is why I said I am starting to lose faith in Democracy. The process only works if you citizens who are concerned with the ACTUAL benefit of whatever you're trying to vote on. Not "Owning Libs no matter the cost"
