Trump supporters are saying Trump will win because Trump has more people at his rallies.
Trump supporters are latching onto whatever they can grasp to the point of hysteria, because it looks so bad and deep down they know it.

I think that's giving Trump supporters too much credit. These aren't people that exist on the same reality as the rest of us. These are the evangelicals who believe no only in the end of the world, but believe it's happening soon and WANT it to happen. These are the people who are flat earthers, moon-landing deniers, truthers, birthers, QAnon. They are faith based thinkers. Evidence and facts don't matter to them, what matters is what they know in their hearts to be true. And what they know is Trump is going to win. Fuck some of them actually believe Trump was sent by God to save America. Which means a vote against Trump is a vote against God. And if Trump loses, God loses. And God doesn't lose.

They're not hysterical, they're faithful.

Guess what. Had an election yesterday (Sat). It had lots of mail in voting. Post office had a hard time getting everything in on time. They've got a couple of days to fix it up. I voted in person and there was no line up, unlike so many years before... of 30 min to an hour lining up. It's compulsory voting here so not having a line up was suprising.

Why do I bring this up? Because there was no whinging, complaining or poltical maneuvering from either side about postal votes. Goddamn refreshing after seeing the last 6mths of lies in the US

I heard that in some states the cops really manhandle you if you break the quarantine (I think it was Victoria). Is it ok around your parts?

Im not in Victoria. That's probably the worst state for cops. We had an idiot premier who wanted to fo after bikies and drugs and proceeded to pull over thousands of people who were innocent. This election had a tough on crime candidate but she lost. Tough on crime here is usually seen as tough on innocent people

The manhandling also came up after the police inspected those that were supposed to be in quarantine but they found out that about a quarter had gone shopping instead of staying at home etc. Doesn't excuse it, it was just frustrating. Also, there's usually a lot of manhandling at protests. And there have been thousands turning up to anti-lockdown protests. And I think they were more heavy handed than usual

Laatly, around June in Victoria there was a spike of cases. They found out that it was guards letting people out of hotel quarantine. It was guards, not police, because the police thought that maintaining was beneath them

So Victoria police are prissy layabouts who dont really care about looking after people

Yes, and it lost, in a Texas Republican leaning court.
I mean, we're generally talking about federal GOP when were talking about voter suppression. The states, including Republicans, have tried to be fair

So, on Tuesday, November 3rd, I lose.

I'm puling for Biden, as you know. He wasn't my first choice for President. I've said that multiple times. But he's here.

However, if Biden wins, I have a new problem. My best friend is a Republican. He voted for Trump last time. One of my closest friends, she got married this year to a Republican. She's pretty left leaning, even though her family voted for Trump. And she's being evasive on talking about politics, so I'm afraid she's voting with her man.

If Trump wins or if Biden wins, I lose because I will have to cut these people out of my life if they vote for Trump.

It's not about how I detest Trump. I do. But I was friends with my Best friend and the now husband of my close friend even after 2016. I don't mind losing. It happens all the time.

The problem is that they are voting for someone who hid information that outright led to the death of my family members. Including my mother.

Let me be clear. If it came out after the election, and my friends voted for Trump... I mean, they didn't know. How can I blame them? It would be an added insult to my life, but my friends are out of this.

But these people know. They've met my mother. They heard my tears. And they found out that Trump knew and did everything possible to underplay it for whatever reason.

There is no possible world that I can look at them again with anything but the idea "You picked the man who led to the death of hundreds of thousands, including my mother."

If Biden wins, that doesn't instantly fix our problems. More actually emerge. But I fear the timeline where the hate cult is fueled once more and justified again that their vile leader, who never pays for any crime and constantly gets rewarded, is re-elected. This is already horrible. What next, Guns ready in 2023, demanding for a third term or starting the first American Monarchy?

But what Biden is, he's a break point. He's a response. Showing that the deplorable actions of the last 4 years have repercussions and you will not be excused by the President for becoming the dregs of society. That the country will come out and correct the path that we're going in.

I don't expect it to be easy. I don't expect the next four years of a Biden Presidency will make the cult go into hiding. But what I expect is opposition, something which the Cult hasn't felt in since Trump stepped into Office.

If Trump wins... the fact that people are actually considering a Civil war is a correct response to people actually voting says that this is the tipping point. And if Americans do not respond to that with the appropriate response of "Everything this man has done has brought less union to our country and we need another way", that is the end of the American Experiment and the start of the Trump Empire. Not even Republicans, because the Republicans of the past are eroded in the wake of Trump. Any Republican politician that speaks out against him and gets railroaded to irrelevance. Trump wins, this is... this is the Majority saying that all that we said America was supposed to be was a pleasant line. And I'm past done with that.

Either way, we get a roadblock or we get the death of the ideal... but I lose more of the people who I care about.

This has been a horrible experience.

Well, in the article it states that the state Supreme Court of Texas struck it down, but they are also taking it to federal courts still and trying to say that it is somehow against the US Constitution.

So do you really want to blame it all on Trump?
Did the WHO change it stance once better startcame out or did they keep misinforming people?
Did Trump change his tune once new data came out or did he keep misinforming people?
But, you know, let’s NEVER forgive people for their mistakes. Yes the WHO made mistakes. They aren’t t to blame for all of the US woes right now. It isn’t even all of Trump. He gets about 50% of the blame.

This wouldn’t be as much of a problem if Trump just changed his tune. I don’t expect an apology him, that would be too much. He wouldn’t be able to handle it. I’d even be somewhat satisfied if he’d just stop lying. But he can’t even do that

People are angry because he keep telling people it’s all good. And it is not.

Also, who the FUCK blames this all on Trump? How about you stop lying?
just because people have criticism of Trump, doesn’t mean they blame everything on him.

Both did change their stance once more information came out. That's the point I'm making.

But, you know, let’s NEVER forgive people for their mistakes.
That is also my point. I'm not bringing this up to point the finger or say "it's all THEIR fault!" I'm bringing this up to show that EVERYONE was wrong about the virus for a period of time. I can even post a video of Dr Fauci saying "masks won't help" back in the day. I'm bringing this up to show that pointing the finger exclusively at Trump is historical revisionism.

It isn’t even all of Trump
Yes, we are in agreement.

Also, who the FUCK blames this all on Trump?
ObsidianJones, in the post right above mine.
