The game in question aside, I'm gonna echo
@TheMysteriousGX and ask if Japanese games, niche especially, are your bag then why are you bothering with the Xbox? The console had very little penetration to the local Japanese market so there hasn't been much drive for Japanese game pubs/devs to put their games on it. Sounds to me like Playstation should be your console.
Who said I ever got an xbox myself? I think that's something people are assuming here. I'm arguing for the principle of the matter, since I assume at least one person who only owns an xbox series X and no switch or gaming pc has to exist, just by sheer probability.
The only xbox I ever owned was the original one.
...are you being serious right now or are you asking why a movie about how the sexualizing of children in society is bad for both the children and society is different than the ecchi game sexualizing children?
And i don't know if you're that unaware, but Cuties caused a *hell* of a blow up. Conservatives are *still* claiming Netflix is part of the baby-eating lizard pedo cult over it
See, that's you being slippery again. Gal-gun is about a guy being shot with cupid arrows and having a comedic experience of blasting away girls trying to confess their love to him, not about sexualizing children, it just has 16-18 year old girls in sexual situations while being what it is.
Just like how you can claim that this game is not about what I described, but is actually about sexualizing children, one can claim that Cuties is not about what you claim it is, that it is using it as a handwavy excuse, and is actually just trying to sexualize children, too.
There's no way to prove either thing as being factually something that doesn't sexualize children, so either we adopt a principled stance for freedom of the arts and base our allowing or disallowing of things on the actual principle, or we allow every conspiracy theorist, theocrat or politically motivated grifter the run of the place. I do not care for the latter, personally.
You should probably give your copy to Microsoft then.
Oh no, you have to go to a different format. Did you know that Xbox "censored" the original too? It might literally be the same issue with Pqube making a different call now that they're a bigger fish
...you know that stations and publishers tend to license anime before its entirely finished, right? And that Interspecies Reviewers (the anime) straight up adds ten solid minutes of almost-hardcore pornography to every episode to pad the run time that the manga straight up did not have? If you license an ecchi series and get delivered porno, it's perfectly reasonable to dump it. Doubly so WHEN YOUR VOICE ACTORS DIDN'T SIGN UP TO DO PORN. There's contracts and shit
...so if your holy grail is niche Japanese games with zero localization, why are you within 500 miles of Xbox? That just sounds like bad planning.
The original xbox version came out first so it wasn't censored, the ps3 version was just released with extra content cause it came later. And hey it's better to get the game in some form than to not release it at all.
And no I have not actually watched Ishuzoku Reviewers cause it didn't seem all that interesting, I assumed the manga had all this stuff too lol.
I am not within any miles of xbox, just arguing about the principle of the matter here.
