I don't see how its misleading. A name is a name, its what you do with it that matters. Not my fault if people find a girl named beautiful to be ugly. If you rely on a name to be informed then honestly I'd rather you stay away from academia. Worse then the people who click on an article and...
The highlights for me was the halo jump(perfectly handled imo) and the scene with the main character and Godzilla simply looking at each other. Easily worth the price of admission just to see those on the big screen. I thought the characters did an well enough job and the cliches subdued, but...
I guess i can take Bob's review a bit more serious

the only opinion i trust. All that said, I still am not a fan of the Rami films and especially SM3
And that's my cue that you and I have nothing in common, which is okay. I still like to read reviews of people that have polarizing opinions, but know I know how seriously I can take your opinion when it comes to my own preferences.
Same said to you, I think the new series far exceeds the original in every possible way save flow, and that people who think like-wise either didn't read the the comics past the 70's(or watch the animated series) or are nostalgic....or both.
Just because you hate something doesn't mean you can't look at it as a whole and see how good it is. I don't like CoD or Zelda, but I can understand why people do and analyze it in that respect.
OT: As a spidy fan I was was on the complete opposite side of Bob on his last review, so as far as...
Sales=/=good.
I'll give you Tobey's Peter Parker, but SM3 destroyed the universe and any association to his character. ASM follows the universe in a cleaner more open fashion and more importantly it's version of 'Spider-Man' is damn near spot on, way ahead of Raimi's. As movies they do...
Honestly, take Bobs review with a grain of fan raged salt. I've watched/read spider-man to the same lengths he has and enjoy Garfield's portrayal more. The writing and pacing compared to the original trilogy was off(as well as more than a few plot holes), but it follows the series and brings to...
If they can get Garfield to do it without Sony, yes(far better spidy/parker imo). If Sony's attached, no. Bassically, all Sony's needs is to be there to collect the money and make sure their brand doesn't take a hit. After that, shut it.
This is what we're doing, here's the premise, this is what we're hoping for. They're more interested in doing 'exclusivity' deals for trailers than anything. Yes, I find that to be immature for an 'industry' and backwards.
Maybe I'm weird but I like it. I'm all in for practicality, however wonder Woman's costume is actually one I've come to respect. Sure it's a glorified 'thong' but I honestly never seen her as a 'sexualized' heroine, lasso and all. I just see her as a badass who I wouldn't want mess with.
The only problem is that this allows devs to 'discount' their games to make it seem as though they're giving the consumer a deal. Sort of how stores have "Holiday sales". When really they just marked up the price with the intention of making it look like a deal that is limited or 'scarce'.
