Might be true-but on the other hand they have the time and money to waste millions on trailers, cutscenes, voice acting, advertisement to "tell" us a story instead of letting us play it. There are some workarounds and if they cant afford to produce a game with a decent amount of gameplay value...

I cant understand why people who yell "omg-its just a game" expect critics to accept games as "art". Grow up folks and make your decision: Just mindless fun to entertain or something that should be taken serious by the public.

Sorry, but I think you are wrong with your definition of science fiction/science fantasy. Aliens and laser weapons belong to the science fiction genre since the war of the worlds frightened millions of americans. Orwells 1984 is way more of a drama or dystopian fantasy then just simple science...

Happens to me once in a while too but after a couple of minutes other player icons pop up on the map. Try playing it for 10, 20 minutes and check out if new players appear on the map. If not you should check your connection/NAT settings.

O come on-do YOU mute 12 million MW2 players before you start a game? First you have to hear something annoying-THEN you can mute ppl.
