MUDs for the most part were populated by college kids and even then those precious few that could get an account with internet access (which was rare in those days). Even MUDs had jerks.

Maybe it would have been better had he strapped explosives to himself and walked into a market or restaurant. I believe that is more acceptible to some.

That's kind of what I was looking for. I was thinking you control the chariot and the horse speed, but you can pull out a sword and attack the other drivers. Or you could use the whip to distract them. Then you could modify your chariot get the little knifes like the movie, etc.

Hmmm....I guess it would have to be done right.

I ended up getting the Prologue GTV and Midnight Club: LA. As I was playing both, somehow Ben Hur came to mind and I was thinking that it would be cool to have a Chariot Racing game. You could have different types of horses, upgrades for your chariots. Skills that help you during the game...

I love COD4 but mostly because of the nuke at the middle of the game. I found myself frustrated by the linearity of the game. A few times, I got tired because of being forced to go a certain way, so I tried other ways and found those to be blocked. I would like to see Vietnam done justice...
