I'd like to think Nintendo secretly pays all their fanatics to jump into action anytime someone criticizes Nintendo in some fashion on the internet, but the reality is just more depressing.
Yes. WW2 was. The allies were as close to "good" as possible in any realistic large-scale war. But the term itself has been whitewashed in modern times to be a lot more pleasant (and trivial) than it actually was. So much so, that now even the Allies look bad under this modern reinterpretation...
1) Don't fuck drunk people.
2) Don't get so drunk that you can't remember 1).
What you think or believe is right and fair doesn't mean jack shit. What matters is what the DA and a jury think.
People bring agendas to video games, most of this gets dumped onto forums in the hopes of some sort of validation. "I played this game you guys are all eagerly waiting on, it sux!" in some form is the typical motif, usually because it conflicts, in their minds, with some other game they identify...
Every time someone calls Fox News, or its supporters on its bullshit they just point the finger at other networks, or start screaming about the liberal media. So no. Fuck off. There is bias and there is out right lies and propaganda, and no they aren't the same thing.
Yeah. Not like the original Nintendo/Sony hybrid PSX had analog/rumble in the design. Not like Sony wasn't working on the early move tech in 2001, nor released a modified gimmick of it a year later. And there certainly wasn't ever companies called Sega or Atari that Nintendo basically followed...
Not really freedom of speech when you are being paid to say it as a part of a propaganda network used to rile the ignorant into supporting your masters.
Last Gen Used sales weren't as huge, most console games didn't have online/patches/dlc/hd, and Gamestop wasn't making a shit ton of money while developers went belly up. Actually, Gamestop wasn't acting like you were a fucking asshole just for daring to ask for a new copy of a game.
Exclusives / 1st party stuff getting high scores makes people asshurt because whatever game they're identifying with didn't. Cue the 'paid off! fanboy!' bullshit. If the new Zelda doesn't get a 10/10 (or even if it does) it'll be more of the same. The internet needs constant virtual reassurance...
SCE. The internet loves to hate on them, but they have done right by me since 1995. So 16 years is a long time without a disappointment or annoyance. Their first party developers and games have been some of the my favorites lately too. Bethesda / Zeni too, Daggerfall wee!
I want to believe, but those 3D games they made were so blargh. My life hasn't been the same all these years without the guidance of Al Lowe. I'm not the man I thought I'd become. Err. . . Anyway. Please, bring back the 2D animated look, yes?
He has his opinions same as everyone else, and he certainly isn't alone in his 'hate.' So he bashed some game you liked then? Yeah it happens. Deal with it. But if people despise him, then I'm not sure why they'd come to this site since he's pretty much the main attraction.
Should've slapped the Momma on principle. Just slap everybody.
Actually, lets get some 360s and blops in the prisons. That is sure to result in both entertainment and more news stories. Win win for everyone.
