i think its because usually youre more vulnurable than during the rest of the game. you speed of movement is slower, you often cant use weapons and very often the controls are horrible because, why put much effort in controls for a small part of a game?

no there is no reason to shoot. just threaten him with it, that should do the trick. on top of that: at least in my country the law says that you must not shoot at someone just for protection of property. you are only allowed to defend yourself in the least brutal but still effective way. so...

me too! thats why i rarely use weapons which take ages to reload. even if i fire only one round i HAVE TO reload cause i cant stand not having a full mag. playing the old Rainbow 6 titles or GRAW2 on PC is particularly hard cause you lose all the bullets you would have left if you swap mags...

they even get their weapons jammed in FarCry2

in fact i'm a soldier right now for that very reason you posted in the OP. military service at the age of 18. but here its only for half a year. we're neutral and surrounded by countries of the EU so there isnt really a need for a good army here.

i mean it' always very risky to create a brand new IP so if you can make extra profit with it and have a secure job for the next years and on top of that the story allows expansion, why not.
