    Overclocking advice?

A mild OC can be done on air for quite a long time before it goes pop. I ran a 2600k at 4.8 for four years I think, and it's still going strong. My latest build is a 6700k @ 4.4 currently, cooled by a corsair H115i AIO unit. Very quiet, very cool, very good looking! Personally, after years of...

    Favorite electronic songs

I've been getting hold of a whole shitload of downtempo chillout stuff lately, sometimes very beaty with rolling basslines (probably classed as 'trap', but some not so!), sometimes of the almost haunting variety. Some of it's vocal too. There are a couple of people I follow on YouTube, that link...

Ghostbusters heading for $70 million loss

Sad but true. I mean, forget the fact we live in a world where Ripley, Furiosa, Lara Croft, Leeloo, Nikita, Rey, Sarah Connor, Selene, Silk Spectre, Tank Girl, The Bride, and countless others exist, often with well fleshed-out back stories and decent character development. Apparently we're all...

    Relaxing Game Music

I have very fond memories from thousands of hours of Morrowind......and then Skyrim happened! It helps that the Skyrim soundtrack also included a few Morrowind favourites. But this one wins the day :)

Ghostbusters Trailer - Holy s#!t, how is it this bad?

Probably best to stop monitoring this thread, and anything else GB related. I mean, it's a waste of your time anyway, seeing as you're so right about everything. Anything less than total agreement would just be an insult eh! One more thing though, So, even if I'm not sexist, my opinion...

Ghostbusters Trailer - Holy s#!t, how is it this bad?

How about putting aside your pre-conceived ideas as to what people are going to hate, and understand that a lot of us are hating this so vigorously, because it looks absolutely fucking awful. Jokes fall flat, acting looks dreadful, CGI looks ultra-neon and terrible, the theme tune is a mess, the...

What's the best thing you can do with bread?

Not dead, just taking a break from forums lately. But there was a thread that required more bacon!

What's the best thing you can do with bread?

Double decker bacon and egg sandwich with a twist. The twist being, you whisk the egg, soak the middle slice of bread in it, and then slow fry it. Less mess, great taste!

Things in entertainment you'd like to see stop

Says the guy with a Transformers avatar. A franchise that only exists to sell toys!!

Anyone here ever played Final Fantasy 11 Online?

I remember when it was coming up for release on the 360, and they offered a free trial/beta period. Our server was called 'Hydra'. I know that I lost an absolute shitload of time to that game, as it was absolutely packed with new starters, all trying to figure things out. I got myself to a...

What Are You Playing "This Weekend." - Hopefully Never Ending Thread

GTA Online......again! After inheriting many tens of millions from various modders 'makin' it rain', I'm finally able to stop grinding missions and live permanently in the carnage that is random freeroam. Christ it's ugly in there!

    Most unstable games

Nothing can beat Morrowind on XBox. Nothing! A game so unstable, even having slightly too many save files could tip it over the edge!

Poll: Gaming PC: To build, or buy pre-built?

I bought a prebuilt machine to start with. But, once I'd changed a few parts over as I went, I realised that it wasn't too complicated, so built my own, and have done ever since. Don't skimp on power supplies and cooling and it'll be fine. Do some reading, buy a cheap toolkit, and go for it :)

Poll: Which console generation had the best games?

G6, without a shadow of a doubt. It took the advancements of G5 and improved on them vastly. Micro-transactions weren't rife, much loved franchises flourished with the new power at their disposal, and the online community was at its highest point in terms of overall mood/feel/atmosphere. Just...

    Random question about a computer

There are plenty of places around that'll build a system for you, containing decent parts, as well as offering warranties. I've been inside enough Dell towers in my time to know that they're OK for offices, bought by the hundred, but that's about it really. But this, for a grand, no way!
